#player2 Jonathan_Kent Jonathan Kent
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?AFFHLT 8G HALF +20 20
#note Small mistake. FL has better synergy than FT. HALF and HAFT sim clos
>Jonathan_Kent: ?AABMOT 9D ABOMA +24 24
#note The only 7 is BOATMAn and the only 8 that plays is I7 B(L)AsTOMA. Both are not easy to see.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?EEFOTU I2 OUTFEE.s +71 91
#note I did not see eTOU(F)FEE but OUTFEE(L)s is a better play anyway.
>Jonathan_Kent: ?EEGNRT D7 RE.GENTs +68 92
#note NEG(A)TERs is 2 more in the same spot. R(O)ENTGEn is a play that would have induced volatility.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEGHPRY 10D .EY +32 123
#note HYPE at J1 would have freed up more clunk, althouh this board is full of hotspots. My play is 8th best according to Q.
>Jonathan_Kent: EILRSVX 2H V.X +29 121
#note Interesting play. I had no idea what he could have been keeping.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EGHLPRW 6G PH.W +20 143
#note 5th best. That was not a great draw. Wasn't sure how to interpret his last play so I decided to get rid of consonants. WHE(E)L 11A was a better way to do it, or 11C P(E)G. WH has good synergy and can work well at J6 for a future score, although I thought that might get blocked a lot of the time.
>Jonathan_Kent: AEEILRS E1 REALISE +66 187
#note We both spaced out on the I hook on ABOMAS the whole game. (F)ILAREES J8 would have been really nice.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AAEGLRT 1J AG +12 155
#note Aaaand we both also spaced out on ABOMASA the whole game too! Definitely wasn't doing 11B AR(E)G, opening up a hotspot wasn't necessary. My play is 8th. Right idea, wrong execution, although AELRT will go places on this board.
>Jonathan_Kent: EIIJNRT C6 JIN +17 204
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEIILRT 13B LI.ERATI +70 225
#note Got this play right! Double I draws are annoying but a bingo is a bingo.
>Jonathan_Kent: CEIORRT 8A CO.. +18 222
#note Again the ABOMASI hook is still there! And we still didn't see it.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AIOQRTV 14A QI +26 251
#note ABOMASA again! Quackle apparently puts my play 4th although it does have its downsides.
>Jonathan_Kent: ABEIRRT L1 ARBITER +75 297
#note Best play by him!
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEOORTV A4 OVER.OAT +64 315
#note This and EVOCATOR sim equally.
>Jonathan_Kent: CEEINUY 15A IN +42 339
#note And this was the downside to playing QI the way I did.
>Samuel_Kaplan: GIKMOSU 8L SOUK +38 353
#note This play is best. SKIM is 6 more but GOU is gross especially with 2 more unseen Us.
>Jonathan_Kent: CDEEUUY H11 CU.EY +33 372
#note This is 2nd best play by Jon. DECU(R)Y is best according to Q.
>Samuel_Kaplan: GILMNSW 12G M.LING +24 377
#note Just MAW at G12 would suffice although the unseen vowel:consonant ratio was 6:10 at that point. If I didn't draw a vowel I was toast.
>Jonathan_Kent: DENNOUZ 11C Z.N +34 406
#note N8 UNZONED would have basically won him the game on the spot. This play is not bad though.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ADDSSTW 14G W.DS +22 399
#note Consonant overload again. Didn't know what to do besides, of course, play off a D. I saw WAST(E)D but that gave back too much. Would you have made my play or done something else? Jon would easily outrun anything I have if I play thru the E in REALISE.
>Jonathan_Kent: DENOOPU 5I .OO.ED +25 431
#note Jon smartly does not play 2A OPEN(E)D. Quackle often times only sorts moves by score and does not consider ranges of opponents. This was a nice play as it blocks my only out play of TSADDIK.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ADDIST 2B DAT.D +22 421
#note Tied for best play.
>Jonathan_Kent: NPU K10 PU. +10 441
>Samuel_Kaplan: IS 13K SI +11 432
#note I would say this was a farily well played game on both ends. Couple minor mistakes, but I thought there was nice offense all around. This game was recorded as 441-433 because I misscored OUTFEELs by 1 point.
>Samuel_Kaplan: (N) +2 434
