#note I traded BQOOO
>Jackson_Smylie: EENNRST H4 RENNETS +66 66
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AACDIOT 10H .OCA +12 12
#note I spent a lot of time on this turn and the next few turns. I hated everything that parallelled RENNETS because I'm going to lose all my bingo lines. But maybe I'm giving up too much equity and going too all-in on bingoing next turn.
>Jackson_Smylie: AEEERUW G4 AWEE +20 86
#note this cuts his bingo % by the most, it seems. even when he has an S, his leave is probably working really well with the ENR lanes available, so it's okay to leave the S hook open. He's also likely to have another A so the K column isn't a huge worry.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AADDFIT F5 AFT +37 49
>Jackson_Smylie: EGIIRTU K6 GUIT.R +14 100
#note I have no idea here. I think I'd play (AR)TIGI had I seen it. TENUTI is also... okay I guess. hated everything here, but GUITAR opens a hard to block S hook that is annoying, especially cause he's more likely than average to have one
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?ADDEEI I3 DEED +26 75
>Jackson_Smylie: AEIINQY L5 QI +14 114
#note definitely overestimated AEINY here - Q likes QUAI a bit more, though it's hard to trust the sim cause a lot of his scoring plays that use the QUAI hooks will give back a lot to me in the sim. QI is nice when i get to use the parallel it opens cause INY can hit for 40ish. maybe given his defensive response QI is fine over QUAI.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?AGIJNO J2 JOG +35 110
#note I considered keeping the G since the QI parallel was so good. But I figured that would almost never stay open. There's also GOJI, which may be worth playing instead
>Jackson_Smylie: AEEINNY M3 AYIN +29 143
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?AEHINU 9F EA.H +21 131
#note Hated doing this but I wanted to keep scoring. N2 UH didn't really cross my mind.
>Jackson_Smylie: EEIINRT E9 NITERIE +72 215
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?CIMNUU 13C cU.CUMIN +76 207
#note I let my time get super low early in this game. I think I have like 6 mins left at this point.
>Jackson_Smylie: AILOUWX 15A WALI. +27 242
#note LOUIE isn't much worse than this, especially cause if I hit the 10E X spot, I'm likely not playing my O or U next turn, so it's nice to be proactive in building a better future rack. this is fine, however, I can also hit MUX next turn when i miss the 50 point play.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?GHKPSZ 8J Z.G +15 222
>Jackson_Smylie: DOTUVXY 10D T.X +51 293
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?AHKOPS N2 PHOS +40 262
#note Very likely to draw into sOAK or something better. Just have to hope he doesn't play there.
>Jackson_Smylie: DELOUVY 14I DULY +17 310
#note definitely worried about his bingo range more than the O1 spot, at this point (given PHOS and ZIG). is that correct though? the O1 spot can hit pretty hard, but I can deal with a 40-50 point play a lot better than a bingo here, and DULY has great defense. it also opens up a minor scoring spot where I can hit stuff like OVER next turn. I don't have any good blocks for O1, so I think I am okay with this route.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?ABIKOP O1 PAIK +70 332
>Jackson_Smylie: EELOORV 15L OVER +30 340
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?BBMOOS 12G MOB +23 355
>Jackson_Smylie: EILNORS 15G LOIN +22 362
#note champ does like this best, but it's a reallllllly tough position. Comparing LO(T) 11C, SENIOR/ZIGS, and LOIN is very difficult, cause they take such different paths to victory. the nice thing about LOT is that I can even beat his immediate bingo by bingoing out, but I will have to bank on hitting the N or O columns, which is hard after he uses good tiles for his bingo. I didn't like SENIOR because I was worried that 1 in the bag would leave him with too good endgame timing, especially if he has the blank. it may be tough to win if he has the blank though, and senior reaches for the blank the most. I felt like LOIN could win without drawing the blank, but I wasn't too aware of the 14a scoring spot. Leaving three in the bag is usually pretty good, but when he can drop AB or OF at 14a, that gives him a pretty commanding position. LOIN also leaves ZIGS open, and a 6 tile play there will be pretty hard for me to outrun. I think LOIN can do well in other cases, but these might be too big to deal with. still no idea what to do, LOT never really outruns but at least when he doesn't have a bingo, it's a really tough spot for him to deal with (blocking could let me outrun, letting me bingo will almost always lose unless he can counterbingo). I'm starting to think the blank may be very important here, after LOT if he has the blank but clunky tiles he can still play one of them off an be really likely to counterbingo the next turn. given the blank's importance, SENIOR would be the play. thoughts?
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?ABLOST N8 SOrTABL. +68 423
#note Had under a minute. I just picked the word that seemed hardest to parallel. I only lose to OVERDRAW/OVERDREW
