>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: DEHOORT 8D HOOTED +28 28
#note Basically equal to HOTROD
>Jackson_Smylie: ?AAIILT 9A TILApIA +69 69
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: DGLNRRY B6 DRY.NG +17 45
#note Pretty big mistake. Blocking the T is not worth losing the points from HARDLY
>Jackson_Smylie: ?AAEELX A7 EA. +26 95
#note EAT over ATE to keep the A11 AX- plays available, which I hit fairly often. I could also play ALEXiA now for 63, but EAT looks far better. I hit AX- plays keeping the blank fairly often as well, which is a far better outcome than playing ALEXIA now.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EELORSU 6B .ELOUSER +61 106
>Jackson_Smylie: ?AAELNX A11 AXiAL +60 155
#note ouch, missed AdNEXAL.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ABELRSU I8 .URABLES +63 169
>Jackson_Smylie: AEGINOR 15C ORGANI.E +80 235
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ACDFGNW 5C FAWN +39 208
>Jackson_Smylie: AEEHINO 14E AHI +32 267
#note consonant heavy pool so it's okay to keep an extra vowel. considered OBEAH here but EIN isn't really that good for bingoing on this board, so it makes sense to go the scoring route, especially when up.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: CDEGIOZ 13C COZ +41 249
#note There are no As left so COZIED is a legimitate option. I just felt that I was unlikely to win without another bingo and COZIED makes the board pretty bad for bingos.
>Jackson_Smylie: EEFNOOS 13G FE.ON +22 289
#note no sense in playing OOF or anything, this sets up an S hook, and EOS is okay with a consonant heavy pool.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: DEGIMNQ 11H Q.ID +28 277
>Jackson_Smylie: EIMORSW 14I .W +27 316
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EGJMNTT D1 MENT.. +22 299
#note I was a bit lost on this turn and Quackle doesn't like my play. I also considered J(E)T(E) and JE(FE) and J(O). Although JO was based on TEGMENT* which I eventually decided was not good. I missed MALTHA, which scores the same as MENTAL but keeps the GN combo together, which is important. Separated from N, the G is a bad tile to have when I need to bingo and am also saddled with the J. My play is at least the most open of the options, but I don't know how much that matters, since QAID is going to be hard to block and row 5 blocks usually open new lines. I like MALTHA but I didn't see it. Maybe should have just done JEFE in that case
>Jackson_Smylie: EIMORSV H1 REMOV. +36 352
#note also have MISMOVE available here, but the S is worth a lot in scoring and defense value with addressing QAIDS, so REMOVE is probably better for outrunning anyway
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: GIIJOTU 3B JI.GO +26 325
>Jackson_Smylie: CIKSTTY L11 SKY +47 399
#note SKY over STY because CIKT didn't seem like it would make up 8 points in the endgame over CITT - the CK combo isn't especially good here, especially cause there's no way to really hit OIK next turn (except rare DEKE draws). however, I didn't see TSK this turn at 10D. Although it doesn't block the S hook on QAIDS, CITY does a really good job of outrunning and ensuring I have a good score for next turn. Q says I cut only a couple bingo % for him by playing SKY but average 12 more after playing TSK! a smallish error here
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EIPPSTU 12L .IP +9 334
#note Sucks to keep a U but I can't count on any of my bingo lines staying open otherwise
>Jackson_Smylie: BCDITTU N10 CU. +13 412
#note CUPID will lose to all outbingoes, so went with CUP. CUP could still lose occasionally, but he'd either have to score decently with a 2 tile fish and draw two different bingoes, or he'll have to somehow outscore with a 1 tile fish, which is also pretty unlikely, since I'll be blocking the higher scoring lane always.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ENPSTUV 2C P. +8 342
#note I bungled what should have been a pretty easy choice. Play off UP(O) and draw EI. That leads to a tie game. I only contemplated 1-tile fishes since I figured he might be forced to block the R depending on what I leave in the bag, but UNVESTED just doesn't outrun those blocks. Lost out on ~10% of a tie here
>Jackson_Smylie: BDIIRTT 3H .IDRIB +24 436
#note this is the only 100% win, I block UNVESTED and score just enough to outrun REVENUES
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EENSTUV M1 SU.EVENT +64 406
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EENSTUV -- -64 342
#note Was pretty certain this wasnt good
>Jackson_Smylie: ETT 4L TET +14 450
>Jackson_Smylie: (EENSTUV) +20 470
