#player2 Tony Tony
>Bryn: ALNOPST 8D PANTO +20 20
#note Interesting opening rack; I suspected there may be a sneakily good exchange 1 but not really. More than one approach to take here; not only does PANTO sim best it's by far the most open of the viable options I have. Even though Tony is a great open board player this tends to be my strategy on opening racks such as this.
>Tony: ADZ 9G ADZ +30 30
>Bryn: ALNORST D8 .LASTRON +72 92
>Tony: AX 10I AX +36 66
>Bryn: BCDFIIY 15D .IDIFY +39 131
#note DIdin't consider 14A IDI(O)CY but NIDIFY looks to be the play
>Tony: ?DDEINO K8 aDENOID +76 142
#note Tony has three 2x2's here
>Bryn: ?BCEHMR 13G BEsM.RCH +88 219
#note I considered BRECHAM L2 but much preferred the board after BESMIRCH (the two sim neck-and-neck). Tony's play after BRECHAM will be rather easy, but BESMIRCH demands a skillful response since he will have to open proactively
>Tony: AHMW 11D .HAWM +26 168
>Bryn: AEENNVW L12 W.EN +29 248
#note This felt (and is) overly equity whorey but I had used a fair bit of clock to this point and played this instantly, thinking it was safe, scored some, and gave me options next turn. J6 ANNE(X)E looks best to me here - as long as I restrict either the top right or top left after ANNE(X)E, he's going to have a very hard time opening again
>Tony: BGIT N10 BIG.T +34 202
>Bryn: AEEIKNV O6 KNAVE +40 288
#note Played this too quickly - should have looked for A plays from K8 (probably 8K (a)VIAN).
>Tony: EFNU J6 UNFE. +37 239
>Tony: EFNU -- -37 202
>Bryn: CEEGIOU 9G ...E. +25 313
>Tony: FU F6 FU. +14 216
>Bryn: CEGILOU 6L GUC. +17 330
#note Hmm don't really know what to do here. Q likes GUILE L4, which strikes me as neither demonstably better or worse than GUCK. L4 OCULI is also a possibility but these are all pretty close. I suspect Q is slightly overvaluing GUILE since it underestimates the chance Tony either has or is building toward an -ING bingo (one would have played at L2, although there is only one N left).
>Tony: OR 14B RO. +6 222
>Bryn: EILOOUY L6 .UY +19 349
#note Q is suggesting some equity-driven nonsense, this is surely fine
>Tony: AI E5 AI +9 231
>Bryn: AEILOOT 12D .OLA +19 368
>Tony: L 10I ...L +11 242
>Bryn: EIILOOT N2 OLEI. +14 382
#note There are 18 in the bag and I have about 2 mins of clock left. I'm irrationally OCD about not incurring a time penalty and proceed to haphazardly play as many tiles as possible on these next few turns
>Tony: IQ O1 QI +35 277
#note lmao
>Bryn: AIOTTTU 4I TATTI. +12 394
#note This seemed almost embarrassing when I played it but amazingly it sims best
>Tony: JR 10C J.R +16 293
>Bryn: EEORSUV 3C OVERUSE +77 471
#note Was going to play OVERSU(R)E B8 until Tony blocked since I didn't initially find OVERUSE. Was not going to play OEUVRES A4 even though it wins 100%, presumably implying that there are no 3x3s available
>Tony: EEINRSS D1 RI.EN +20 313
>Bryn: EEGOP H1 PE. +15 486
>Tony: ESS 11D .....S +26 339
>Bryn: EGO 1B GO.E +5 491
#note GOER A1 obviously
>Bryn: (ES) +4 495
