#note *sigh. ive never studied this but should still find conjure, i also briefly thought about the validity of jouncer, best non conjure at least

#note once again like conjure, never studied ominous but should still probably find it. I played this because odium doesnt seem like it takes an s but it does, and i dont think brett will know that
>brett: DEIN - +0 135
#note challenged odium. Ben came over after the challenge and told me the definition, which made it apparent that it did take an s, whihc i was pretty sure of but i felt like it was cheating so i told brett that it did in fact take an s to level the playing field

>brett: DEIN 8A NIDE +33 168
>evan: AAEIKNR 7C ARK +23 248
#note i spent an agonizing 5 minutes on this turn. i saw options like yarak and fakie but really didnt want to make it easy for him. i feel i can definitely win if i keep the board closed as the only real threat is the odiums spot or to the n. he likely doesnt have the blank after nide as he probably wouldve had a bingo through the t or o, and before he challenged odium he probably wouldve let odium go if he had dein? as he probably wouldve had a counter bingo. he certainly could have an s after last turn, hes just blocking an easy scoring spot while keeping the odiums spot open whilst creating another big lane to the n. this means i should probably [play longer and open to try to hit the blank before he does, but if i open and he draws the blank and bingos i feel like anr with fakie doesnt do very well in scoring. fake is an interesting option i didnt really consider, as i saves the faker hook while keeping a pretty good leave of ainr, which will likely turn better because of the surplus of e's. ark is interesting because while it does hold fairly vowel heavy leave and the pool is a bit vowel heavy, it saves rexine as a nice scoring play next turn, but i also misscored that as a possibiulity because i thought it was 30 and not 26. definitely feel like i made a mistake here in not playing fake -6

#note "you were supposed to give me a d" now i recount it as the correct 26 and now i feel like i made a mistake
>brett: AP B7 P..A +18 231
>evan: ACELNSV 12A VAL.NCES +68 342
#note maybe enclaves is actually better because a bingo cant be played next turn, valences actually makes 2 unblockable lanes if he plays down from the v. sim still likes this but i wouldve preferred enclaves i think
>brett: NU - +0 231
#note desperation challenge
>evan: ?BEHOSW H12 .HOW +30 372
