#note or RT. looks close. QRTU may be a bit better midgame, but I can still get quite a few 35 point plays. Q prefers RT by a bit #tacticssmall

>jacks: NNOQRTU 7H TORN +12 12
#note I kinda like giving so little back with TORN, but QUIN may just be fine. QUINT plays will give me hooks. There's also NOR which gives even less back, the I and M hooks aren't really dangerous. Looks like a better version of TORN, I can get some INN plays too. I often feel compelled in these games to give back no hooks at all, but that doesn't mean TORN is the most defensive play. QUIN is fine for offence. #tacticssmall

#note think I just gotta pull the trigger on DUNCH here. I figured he knew BENDYS so wasn't worried about making another S hook, although CHOMPS is harder to block. NQRU also isn't very good here, I really need a couple more vowels to make it a decent leave, so it's really not so much less risky than PQR, just less shitty. given the difficulty of blocking CHOMPS I should just play DUNCH. #tacticssmall

#note like it more than XI, also hate keeping NNORS here.

#note yeah really bad decision here. I usually don't like phonying with stuff where you know what the definition would be, but the doubt is on whether it is included. I feel like people are usually more likely to challenge cause they don't give you as much blind trust as if you plop down some crazy shit. If I didn't have (A)RF available then this decision would be more okay, but I had already talked myself into playing FLARERS and playing it quickly, so when TOO came down I still just went with my decision, but it's so much better to just play ARF. #strategylarge
>bond: ADELNRS O6 S.LANDER +80 263
>jacks: AEFLRRS D8 FR.AR +24 209
#note I didn't like playing FEAR cause he can close the spot and then I really have one shot to either hit the left side or to fork, but playing FRIAR now makes it harder for him to close AVERTS. Q has me bingoing more immediately with FEAR, so maybe I just force a small block and hope to fork/bingo. I like being proactive with forking, but he may also leave FEARS alone. I'm not sure what to do.
>bond: PUZ 13J PU.Z +30 293
>jacks: EFGILNS 8A NIF. +30 239
#note want to stay within one bingo range, I like putting the N here with all the Is out, and I still keep the 13/14 rows sorta open. Maybe I just do FE(U) but I feel like that lets him close a bit too easily.

#note Missed the sweet (F)O(D)GEL. I am not in a good position, but any board opening play I can make will just get outrun too easily. FODGEL is a better version of this plsy. #visionmedium
>bond: AB 7A AB +10 401
>jacks: ?AIILOO 6I .O. +12 340
#note he overdrew here, turning over EIV. I put the V back in the bag. Nothing seems to win, so I went for BOLIVIA and hoped he'd not block.

#note maybe just play for spread, idk. I was at a weird point where my spread was so bad that I kinda gave up on it. It may be too early for that though. I was like 99% sure this was no good, but not 100%
