#note I wasn't sure about Pope! Ugh. That is rather bad. Otherwise DETRAIN 12E for 73 points. Also missed TRINODAL O1 for 77 points

>Ken: BDEGNOQ 5K BOG +22 183
#note Quackle prefers BONG 5K. I think this is better than BOG 5K for a few reasons: 1) scores 2 more points; 2) makes a parallel play on M4 harder to hit; 3) turns over an additional tile which isn't helpful to me at this time. I need to play my Q, and the N isn't helpful for that, unless I draw a U. I think at the time I didn't want to provide an S hook on the O line, especially with 4 S unseen. There is also BOG 6M for 25 points which I didn't see and DELEING K5 for 36 points which is best
>Jason_LI: ACGOR 11G CARGO +26 194
>Ken: ADEENQV E3 DEVA +19 202
#note Quackle likes NEVE 14E for 21 points, but I'm not sure about that. It must be assuming that I can use my D for a big play on the next turn (CORED G15), but I think it's likely that Jason will use that spot, even if just to block. I would create a spot for the 15A line triple because of the V placement, but I'm not loving my chances to do much there given my DEQ leave.
>Jason_LI: ITT D2 TIT +13 207
>Ken: EENQUUZ 14C QUEUE +22 224
#note Quackle prefers G11 CORNU and 3A EQUID, but I would never make either of those plays. There is no way either triple opening is staying open for me on my next turn. Quackle must be assuming that I'll hit big plays with the Q or Z on my next turn, but I just don't think Jason will leave that spot, especially on a closed board. I'm comfortable with 14D QUEUE play here.
>Jason_LI: ARSTW 15E STRAW +35 242
>Ken: DEEINRZ L1 ZEND. +50 274
#note I had hoped that A15 ZEIN would stay open, but Jason took care of that spot with his very nice STRAW play. Thank you, ZENDO!
>Jason_LI: FNU C3 FUN +29 271
>Ken: EEHINOR 1G HEROI.E +57 331
#note This was big
>Jason_LI: NT 2K N.T +7 278
>Ken: AELNSUY 12K NU +11 342
#note This was a very interesting position. I was trying to figure out what Jason's last play NET K2 was all about. I was surprised that he closed a bingo line given at this point. Thinking about it more, he probably didn't have the blank and was looking to block the S hook on HEROIZE. I was definitely confused by the play. The thinking with NU K12 was to hold the Y for a response play after a bingo down the B line. Based on the current score, I think it is extremely unlikely Jason can beat me with a B line bingo. He probably would need to hit the L on the O line, which he definitely can. Unfortunately, Quackles hates my play and prefers AYE/BOGY N4 for 18 points which it says wins 99.9% of the time compared to 81% for NU (yikes). The more I look at it, the more I really like N4 AYE: it scores 7 more points than NU, it blocks O line bingos (!), it leaves 1 tile in the bag, and it creates a response in case Jason bingos on the B line. It does give him a huge potential triple word score, for example O1 TIVY or VINY -- both for 51 points if no blank used. However, that won't be enough points to beat me. Quackle also likes J11 GAILY for 23 points which it says wins 99% of the time and makes sense to me because it leaves 1 tile in the bag and scores 12 more points than NU.

#note I had been running low on time and feeling the pressure. Once I saw N2 SLAYS, i knew the game was won.
