>Winter: AADW 8F ADAW +16 16
>Will: ABIILSU G6 BU.I +9 9
#note Need second S hook, sims best.
>Winter: ADNPRST H7 S.NDTRAP +66 82
>Winter: ADNPRST -- -66 16
>Will: AEGHILS F6 AG. +15 24
#note This was actually a FAR more interesting situation than I gave credit for during the game. If I was somehow able to process this situation inhumanly fast and allow SANDTRAP without holding (that part is key), it's probably best to let Winter play it and counter bingo with LAIGHEST. I come out about as far ahead after that sequence as I do by challenging and then playing AGA in terms of immediate score on our next turns, and I might still get an even more valuable turn later if Winter pluralizes it, emboldened by the fact that I did not hold. If I hold for a long time and agonize over it, the odds I get that extra turn later aren't very good. It's also perfectly fine to just challenge it and move on with my life, but I should definitely be playing something different than AGA. Just AGHA Is better than AGA to score better and pump up my bingo% a bit, knowing he doesn't have a double-double. There's also H1 GEISHA knowing that he doesn't have a bingo through it. Quackle actually likes I8 WHIG best simming against SNDTRAP, expecting him to play 7F PUD and giving me heavier hitting bingos hooking WHIGS and even double-doubles through the G with a lot of common draws.
>Winter: ADNPRST H7 P.D +15 31
>Will: EHIILNS E4 HIN +17 41
>Winter: AENRSTT 3C NATTERS +75 106
>Will: AEGILSU 4C UG. +22 63
#note Can't do AUGH here with all the tiles lurking to crush that spot (FKHW), but I strongly considered LAUGH for 6 more points; although I get significantly fewer bingos down on my next turn, Quackle nevertheless thinks my average scores are close to identical. Hmm. Think I still prefer UGH.
>Winter: EHOR 4I HERO +19 125
>Will: AEEILOS 5I OE +10 73
#note 5I ALEE scores 22, but leaves IOS. Quackle prefers 5H OE for 8 to my play by the tiniest margin, which makes sense because the R of HERO pairs quite well with my AEILS leave.
>Winter: INQ M2 QIN +32 157
>Will: ?AAEILS 10C ALgESIA +73 146
#note For example I get RAILAGES here after the other OE. My move is the only play that scores more than 68.
>Winter: GIT N1 GIT +32 189
>Will: EIIJMOO 11I EMOJI +30 176
#note Hate how paralleling with the E forming AE cuts off row 12 so badly, but what else can I do? MOJO leaving EII? At least EMOJI threatens a terminal S hook, which MOJO does not.
>Winter: EIRVZ B4 VEZIR +48 237
>Will: AILNORW 12K WON +37 213
#note VEZIR changes the dynamics quite a bit; I considered WON and ANOW and they sim almost completely evenly. Including the A with the LIR leave pumps my bingo% up a very nice amount, which is worth a lot here; in addition to the outside chance of getting to use it on column O with ITA, if I spend it with ANOW, no guarantees I draw another letter that plays alongside the R of VEZIR, and I want as many of those vowels as I can. I can't suss out for sure which of ANOW or WON offer better reparallel opportunities for bingos on row 13, but both allow bingos with terminal R, which is important with leaves of LIR and ALIR.
>Winter: ABELTT A7 BATTLE +37 274
>Will: ADILRRU 13A RUDI +19 232
#note Struggled here, no idea how to play this. I just wanted to keep the A to preserve the miracle ITA draw. RUDI is top equity but sims slightly behind other plays that spend the A, like DURAL and DURRA in the same spot. Part of that is surely that RUDI makes an X spot that Winter can use to put the game out of reach.
>Winter: EENP 13J PEEN +34 308
>Will: AFLRSTU O3 ARTFUL +33 265
#note Score is getting out of hand, I don't think I can afford a small fish here - have to take points and hope to get some goodies.
>Winter: CDO 14I COD +22 330
>Will: CEEFNOS H12 FOEN +40 305
#note Not much else do to here, need to hope for tiles flexible enough to hit the N of FOEN or an -RS- word through the R of HERON on column K - not impossible. Alternatively an X bomb atop RUDI might create problems for Winter as well.
>Winter: KO 12C OK +27 357
>Will: CELOSXY G2 Y.X +13 318
#note Rather than YEX, I need to play POX here, leaving CELOSY which can turn into COARSELY K1 with the A or blank and not emptying the bag, saving me a ton of spread when he does bingo. I would also need to hope there might be some kind of phantom bingo I could have to the N from Winter's POV, or else he might simply ignore the N and block column K even if I hit the fish.
