>JD: EINOOPU 9K OU +7 7
#note I liked how this forked the board, given that I'm already trailing. POO at 9G might be worth it for 13 more since it also keeps things fairly open.
>Jason_Broersma: AEIK 9C KAIE +15 83
>JD: EEINOOP 10E OPE +24 31
#note Q thinks OPE gives back a lot of cheap points on column H, and would prefer OPINE in the same spot. But if Jason wants to play down from H10, that's great for me!

#note remembered the hook
>Jason_Broersma: OOPT 12A POOT +34 147
>JD: AAGILUZ L2 LUZ +50 160
#note no ALGUAZIL for me! I missed on GAZAL/JOG for 7 more points, which blocks a hotspot and keeps an IU leave that is no worse than AAGI
>Jason_Broersma: ?ABEEIT 13B BEATIEr +97 244
>JD: AAGINQY 7H QI +25 185
#note maybe GUQIN? the N does help this rack

>Jason_Broersma: LVY 10L VLY +24 298
>JD: AFGHLOT 14F FA.TH +42 262
#note FLIGHT in the same spot for 2 more points is Q's choice, but I already was thinking about keeping the G for 9I...
>Jason_Broersma: AGOR 13J AGRO +15 313
>JD: DGLNORW J12 L.. +6 268
#note think I have to go for the 34% chance of bingoing next turn - I saw WONDERING, DROWNINGS and DROWNDING, or a 12/32 draw! if I miss I can also just fish again, because the board is pretty dead. The alternatives are WYLING at 6J, but then it's harder to see how I will catch up.

#note scrabble is wild
>Jason_Broersma: DEH O12 HE.D +36 408
>JD: CDEFRSS 2F SCR.D +14 428
#note my play looks pretty unintuitive, but I was focused (too much so) on retaining a vowel so I could go out next turn. I also wanted to block the possibility of AMEER at H1 for 51. I was worried about what happens if I draw the M, and indeed, it turns out that Jason can tie me if that's the tile in the bag, playing TES/DOBE/JOES and then going out with ALURE. There are 8/8 wins, most of which involve playing five tiles across from 2B, which also blocks AMEER - should've thought a little more creatively.
