#note Oof, totally missed WHUP, which is way better to not keep WU.
>Jack: ACDI 5C CAID +29 75
>Mack: AMOORUW G7 WAUR +23 181
#note WOO has better equity, but being up 100 didn't want to give back an S hook - this makes it pretty hard for Jack to bingo

#note Jack played CINQ almost instantly so I was very confident he had an S. I just felt like if I didn't block the hook and he bingoed there for 100 I'd have basically no way to make up the deficit on the resulting board, so even at great equity expense I had to block, and this was basically the only way. MEINIE is an interesting idea to set up another S hook for myself to use if he hits one, but that seems pretty unpromising with my LU leave even if I do draw an S. I think DIEL is necessary here, I'm still up 37 so in decent shape even with my bad leave.
>Jack: OT 13L TO +10 190
>Mack: EIMOUUV F10 OVUM +15 232
#note I could also exchange, but I felt I was pretty locked in to bingo defense at this point and EIU seemed salvageable with the consonant-heavy pool - this at least forces Jack to bingo with a 7 overlapping both IT and NO or with an 8 through one of the U, M, or C.
>Jack: EENRSTT O12 SENT +32 222
#note Actual rack - I somehow managed to block both E3 THIRTEENS and 14F NETTERS/TENTERS. Wow.
>Mack: EEGHIUV 3K UGH +36 268
#note Almost played 3C VUG instead to save OPHITE with a T draw next turn, but 12 points in hand is simply too much to pass up.
>Jack: EJ F2 JE.. +28 250
>Mack: ?EEGINV 3B EVE +15 283
#note Was getting very low on time here and starting to panic a bit - this is very aggressive but at the same time I'm so likely to hit a basically game-ending bingo with NEVE if Jack doesn't have the last N or a bingo making the blank an N. I also couldn't score much and with an X and Z out wanted to make sure I couldn't get outrun without a bingo, and wanted to have a good counter-threat if Jack hit something on row 15. With 2 or especially 3 more Ns unseen this is likely wrong, but with only 1 unseen I think it's aggressive but warranted - Quackle agrees.
>Jack: FGR 9I FR.G +21 271
>Mack: ?AGINTZ A1 GINZo +79 362
#note The blank didn't seem worth 24 here, hence this over ZING - I don't need to bingo and the 24 points are vital in ensuring I have enough to outrun Jack if he bingos to the T in SENT. I could also play H10 GAZING, but that leaves the A column open which I really don't want to do since I now don't have an N and it could become very hard to block.
>Jack: DEESTTY C5 .TENOIDS +63 334
>Jack: DEESTTY -- -63 271
>Mack: AAELRTX 12D EX.LT +26 388
#note Should just play EAUX or H10 TAXA - this gives him back DEV for no good reason, which I missed since I was under 2 minutes at this point and rushing.
>Jack: DE 11D DE. +35 306
>Mack: ?AAARST D7 TApA..RAS +61 449
#note I was down to 30 seconds here and played this quickly thinking I'd outrun any outbingo he had including 3*3s since I knew he had IONST from CTENOIDS* and DEV and didn't see any 3*3s with the Y. Turns out I was correct, but a bit too close for comfort - his only possible 3*3 out is NOISIEST/INOSITES, which loses by 3 for him, 449-446. Given I didn't have time to search thoroughly or do the math I probably should've just played something to block the T, but it turns out this is perfectly fine as well.
>Jack: DINOOST E11 ..ON +18 324
>Mack: AEEIY 15A YEA. +21 470
#note Out of time. H12 TYEE is 7 better to block his out
