#player2 Ayo Ayo
>Will: AIINRTU 8H UNI +6 6
#note Considered exch. IU as well. Typically the stronger the opponent the more apt I am to play UNI over exch. IU (more appropriate defensive responses from a stronger opp) but I switched it up a bit here. The two plays are CP's top picks, with exch. IU a couple points of valuation ahead.
>Ayo: IIIII -IIIII +0 0
>Will: AIORRTU I5 URI.ATOR +60 66
>Ayo: AAEELTT 12E ALTE.ATE +68 68
>Ayo: AAEELTT -- -68 0
>Will: DILOORZ H11 ZOOID +62 128
#note Simming against Ayo's rack, Quackle prefers ZORIL to ZOOID by a couple tenths of a point of valuation. The reason for this is that his best equity play is A(ZO)TE, and keeping the D gives me a strong uptick to my next-turn scores with AZOTED. Very interesting, would've loved to have figured that out in-game.
>Ayo: AAEELTT J10 ELATE +28 28
>Will: BLOORRV 14F VO.L. +16 144
#note Surprisingly the top equity move, but also nicely cuts off the D with a big lead.
>Ayo: IK G13 K.I +26 54
>Will: BEORRTW 5H B.RROW +22 166
#note Considered J2 BOWR and BURROW; sim is nearly a dead heat between the two. I thought BURROW would be better defensively than BOWR, but it appears both yield similar opponent scores. However, Ayo's scoring plays after BURROW give me back a TWS a lot of the time, whereas they don't after BOWR when he plays from H1. Keeping the R is better for bingoing, but the board is not great for it, and BURROW scores 5 more now, exactly the estimated difference between BOWR and BURROW on my next turn.
>Ayo: AHMT 4L MATH +39 93
>Will: EELNNTT 3H LENTEN +31 197
#note I thought LENTEN had the edge over TELNET because if I drew an S for ZOLS I would have greater flexibility to use it by hooking UNIT, and TELNET allows S-ending bingos to play, whereas LENTEN does not.
>Ayo: EFS K9 FES +41 134
>Will: EGINSST O1 NIG. +24 221
#note A ton of close options here. Quackle doesn't like this best, preferring I tack on the S or play NIGHEST; I accept NIGHS is probably better, but would prefer not to open another lane with NIGHEST.
>Ayo: AIIUU -AIIUU +0 134
>Will: EMQSSTX 2N Q. +22 243
#note Close with N1 EX, but playing QI now avoids those annoying situations where I get saddled with the Q for too long.
>Ayo: DEW L8 WED +21 155
>Will: AEMSSTX 7H M.X +25 268
#note No need to open with MAXIS or 7K MAX...
>Ayo: EIV 8L .IVE +30 185
>Will: ?ADESST O8 .STrADES +77 345
#note Blank draw was overkill.
>Ayo: ABY N12 BAY +33 218
>Will: ?ACEIPT 4B ECToPIA +78 423
#note 2B ECTOPIA scores six more and yields six more points to Ayo.
>Ayo: CDEO M11 CODE +35 253
>Will: JLOORRU E3 J.UR +20 443
#note JUCO looks better. It blocks the SLAB hook just as well as JOUR, defends against bingos roughly the same amount, and scores 6 more.
>Ayo: INP M7 P.N +16 269
>Will: FILOORS F2 FO. +25 468
>Ayo: AEU 2I AUE +13 282
>Will: AIILORS 1G IOS +12 480
#note Correct, to block big overlaps (NAGGY)
>Ayo: AEGGHNY C3 A.HY +24 306
>Will: AILR B6 ARIL +13 493
>Will: (EGGN) +12 505
