#note thought this was invalid in NWL but probably valid in CSW. It's valid everywhere and I was very close to not playing it.

#note I could not see the 2x2 here. But I saw LEUCISM$ and figured it probably wasn't valid in CSW yet!

>Joshua_Sokol: AEHISTU F8 .AH +32 185
#note I saw HA(L)ITUS, but I was concerned that after it, a bingo or big scoring play from Adam would put me in a really rough spot. It's not enough to be tied with Adam and keeping an E, his scoring power is just far superior to mine. So I figured I'd keep things a bit more shut and hope to hit a fish.

#note I was going to play BIGA 13B but was only 90% sure of it. This is probably a bit worse but not that bad. I hold one of the two T's needed to hook TRENDIEST, and I will try to maximize that potential over the next turn or two.

#note let's see if I can win this coin flip now. I'm in good shape but if I hit a bingo I pretty much win.

#note yess, in the driver's seat again, that's 4 bingos

#note much to consider here, but mostly, can I outrun his bingo without maximizing scoring and opening up row 1? I forgot if KAW# was a word so I was debating this and KING D1. I think I should play KING D1 so that I can be the KING of D1. I saw POC(K)ETER and perhaps a few other possibilities for Adam, but figured that by playing 3, he would have to play 4 to leave one in the bag, which seemed far less likely than playing 3. If he plays 3 after this, I can play 1 tile and take a pretty insurmountable lead. If he plays 4, it's less likely, but he's also far less likely to hit a bingo after a 4-tile play, so playing 3 tiles really seemed best for tempo. However, perhaps brute force was the better avenue. Unsure here, I don't really trust Quackle's analysis insofar as the 4-tile plays being clearly better than the 3-tile plays.

#note up 65 now, FAG(S) puts me up 99 and leaves me with 12 points on my rack. If he is able to score 80 points he can outrun me. Didn't see super easy or even possible for him to do that, but I just have this play that as I mentioned earlier just wins on the spot since I am not emptying the bag.
Upon further analysis, FAG(S) wins 100%, even if he were to have COVELET#, the highest-scoring bingo possibility in this position. At worst, I win by 5 points. At worst after (I)F, I win by 17, and I also sometimes threaten TRANGAM/TANGRAM or MANAGER if his bingo gives me a spot.
>Adam_Logan: EILORTV B6 RIVET +18 412
#note I threaten CARNAGE/CRANAGE# here. The best play is VOLET# in the same spot.
>Joshua_Sokol: AACGMNR 14J MAG. +28 505
#note OLE A4 was his only out, which I would have been surer of if this was NWL, but alas. -16 to A4 CRAG
>Adam_Logan: ELO A4 OLE +6 418
#note he also has O(R)LE actually, but it's in the same spot.
