#note ANI suggested a strong leave (he almost played AI) so I wanted to block YIPS.

#note it was tempting to play OUTGLOWED, but I figured I should block column C and rows 2 and 3. but actually I missed the biggest threat on the board - the YIPE hook!! Kurt could reasonably triple-triple with some luck, so probably I should block with BENE/YIPE.
>Kurt: IQ 2F QI +33 312
>JD: BCEEGRR 5I GER.. +22 365
#note shed a lot of equity missing YIPE. should throw down RENEGE/YIPE for 34.

#note SENECA for 46 with YIPE. he just blocked AMESACES.
>Kurt: AV 2M .VA +12 382
#note great idea!
>JD: ACDEESS O1 C.SED +27 471
#note I had about 8 minutes to figure this out, but I was tired and got lazy and nearly threw the game away. DECEASES plays for 87 to put me up by 149, and I had calculated that that was enough. But then with about 2 minutes left I looked again and realized that triple-triples with the D and G and doubling a 2-pointer would beat me by 2 points! I saw BARDLING, LANDGRAB and CARDIGAN to beat me, and two of the 3 of those were easy enough that I decided to block. But I hadn't done the math quite right and left myself vulnerable...I can avoid this problem entirely by finding CADEES or CASEASE which outrun everything, but because I got lazy I didn't look for a better column O play. My play loses to a rack that doubles the D - TReADING or TERAGLIN.
>Kurt: ?AGILNR 15H .RAILiNG +77 459
#note I saw right away that he had TERAGLIN, but it's also CSW-only, and there seemed a chance he would miss it. I figured I deserved to lose given my miscalculation on the previous turn. Lucky for me, he missed it.
