>karl: ENO 8H ONE +6 6
>jackson: BBEEENR G5 REBBE +19 19
#note I think I must have missed REBBE 7E.... it is so much better to not give back BONE hooks with his good bingo range.
>karl: ENOVY F2 ENVOY +36 42
>jackson: AELNPRT K2 PLANTER +75 94
#note there was something about the E column bingoes that seemed to keep the board open longterm. But I don't know how founded that is, I guess PLANTER K2 partially exhausts the top of the board, where shorter plays will just open the top right and not exhaust.

however it's nice to have a different hook to bone played, S D or Y, which don't take an S. BONERS is gonna stay open longterm, and will be an annoying threat to deal with. PLANTER/PYE is probably fine here, the extra point helps as well. Both plays leave things really open, I still feel some longterm defense of k2 planter but I'm not convinced.
>karl: ?EIIMOT 3B lIMO.ITE +72 114
>jackson: DDHILSW H1 WI.H +42 136
>karl: GZ 4J Z.G +26 140
>jackson: ADDLNST E5 LAND +22 158
#note didn't like the risk of LNST with DAD, I preferred LAND to be able to deal with ZAGS later on. there aren't many good 8s lanes so I didn't like LNST very much. I didn't see BLADED but it scores a bit less and doesn't block the E column, which I want to do. even though I have an S I like that bladed blocks ZAGS because it's hard to block later on, and there's no guarantee I'll have a good play taking it soon
>karl: DEKST M3 TSKED +38 178
>jackson: ADDSTTU 10G STUD +19 177
#note didn't see TU(T)T(E)D! that's cool. I also have DUST(E)D which is nice, could be better than STUD cause it blocks more scoring plays. I think i'd do TUTTED if I could redo it cause the S has decent power here and the board may soon only be good with an S
>karl: NOPY 4A PONY +41 219
>jackson: AADEIRT D7 AIRDATE +74 251
>karl: CEV B2 C..VE +22 241
>jackson: ?AAAEIS C8 AA +10 261
#note liked this placement best to keep the T in airdate open, as that's a really good lane for my leave
>karl: FLUX A6 FLUX +47 288
>jackson: ?AEIORS L8 SOApIER +73 334
#note idk this feels like it could exhaust the bottom better than something like ERASION, which also has the issue of allowing some big J plays that could outrun. I like blocking boners as well while I can
>karl: CFIJLRW -FJIC +0 288
>jackson: EFIJLOU 14J JU.EL +56 390
#note yawn

I think TUFOLI is actually better! he could have a huge jurels bingo
>karl: AEGORUW O8 INHEIRS +96 384

>karl: EGINRSW 12G SWING.ER +66 376
>jackson: AAIOQRU 14E AQUA +35 484
#note I didn't track properly and didn't think about it. this game basically won me the tournament so I was like whatev

QUA is the better endgame

>karl: C 5D C... +16 392
>karl: C -- -16 376
>jackson: IOR I5 IRO. +5 489
#note lolz even when he laid down the C I didn't clue in that he was stuck with the C
>jackson: (C) +6 495
