#note Intentional. Like I always say: "It's only phony if it's challenged off the board." It still took me a long time to play this because I'm not sure of Conor's word knowledge. My phony is the best play. GRUFF is supposedly the best non phony play and I saw it but I didn't play it for reasons I hope are obvious. My phony's better. What if he tries to add an S?

#note I'm pretty sure I lost the game with this play. I saw DUAD, but only at L12 not L9. I didn't want to open a bingo lane on row 15 with a blank unseen.

#note Did he draw the blank yet?
>Conor_Munro: ANO F8 A.ON +15 341
#note Nope, he still doesn't have it. He thinks I have it, but I'm just trolling him.

#note I checked the bag and there were six tiles left. Conor could have drawn the blank after drawing three tiles, but that's not going to happen because I'm going to get it. Best case scenario: Conor has the V-W combo on his rack and he kindly left the blank for me to draw. After I drew my tiles, I knew Connor had the blank on his rack. It could be the last tile in the bag, but I doubt it. So I wrote the unseen tiles on my score sheet: AANSTWZ? The only bingos I saw were an unplayable STANZAS and WARRANTS. I can Z stick him if he bingos with WARRANTS. If he has WZ? on his rack, I'm screwed because WAReZ goes down for about a million points. Wait a second, I can't even stick him with the Z! Oh well, I tried. Better luck next time.

#note AIGHT!! LET'S DO THIS!!!! I spent about 22 minutes making sure there was no secret spot to play the Z. After I'm sure G3 ZA is his only out-play, I knew I had to block it but I didn't know if I should use a G or L to do so. Okay, I'm gonna use the G because I might accidentally stick myself with it or something. My next play will be 8M RE to set up REV/LAVE after Connor passes. Then I'll finish it off with WE and then IT! I'm not going to win but I can cut some spread!
>Conor_Munro: Z - +0 415
#note Passing is Conor's best play.
>Tasha: AEEILV H13 .A +2 329
#note I had my endgame all figured out with 8M RE but then I had a very unTashalike* realization that I can't play RE because REZ is a word. So I decided to be a little bit more proper and play TA instead.

#note This was the first game I went through because I wanted to see if it was possible to win with Z sticking. He's too far ahead after the bingo and Q's not helping me at all. Any plays not involving setting up the V to the triple is wrong. So I played it by hand and I only found one endgame that's one point better than what I did. Play G3 LA instead of blocking with GI and play VIG instead of VIE at 15H. I told Conor that I almost played RE instead of TA but then remembered REZ. I also showed him the unseen pool written on my scoresheet and he started questioning whether it was correct to bingo. Bingoing is correct; he just bingoed in the wrong spot. I don't think he noticed, though and I didn't have the heart to tell him. I mean he looked pretty disappointed in himself. He also confirmed that he drew the blank after ANON.
