>rafi: ENW K4 NEW +27 60
>jackson: ACIIUVY L1 YUCA +32 131
#note or CAVY... it's not like IIV has much potential here, but IIU is way more likely to be an exchange rack next turn, IIV gets bailed out
Q likes CAVY better, makes sense
>rafi: ANR 1L .ARN +21 81
>jackson: ?IIIRTV -IIV +0 131
#note considered VI(E) for defense but H1 plays can fork the board, and IIRT? is bad for outrunning things. I'm fine with exchanging. VIE doesn't block much anyways
>rafi: ACEHRST 6B RATCHES +80 161
>jackson: ?BILRTT C2 TITR.BLe +74 205
#note thought about phonying with BRATCHES*, but I figured Rafi would know BATCHERS BRACHETS
>rafi: EVX B1 VEX +39 200
>jackson: EEEELOO -EEEOO +0 205
#note he took a while on VEX which made me think he might have a worse than usual rack, which makes DOOLEE more of a consideration. EE isn't that bad of a leave, Q prefers DOOLEE. As always I lean towards exchanging....
I usually like a more DOOLEE type board, and against Rafi especially, cause I think he'll play a tight board well
>rafi: FIM 8A FI.M +36 236
>jackson: EEFLTTU N1 .EFUTE +22 227
#note E1 LETTUCE is a really interesting play, setting up my F for 36+ point plays on row 1. Only the B and P really hit hard there, so it's a lot more useful to me!
REFUTE is the equity play and HMP hit it hard... hard to say. Q likes it best by a bit ofter EFT and ELF making swage. I wasn't a big dafn of plays there cause they also give back some with the SWAGE hooks, while they do much less for me than REFUTE.
>rafi: AEPRV O4 PARVE +50 286
#note correctly putting the V before the E, solid move
>jackson: AILMQTU N8 MAQUI +40 267
#note thought about fishing my M cause TEQUILA and LIQUATE and ALIQUOT are great plays that I get almost a third of the time!
Q prefers QUIL(T) here, MAQUI actually gives back a lot between the S hook and O column, whereas QUILT doesn't get hit too hard - definitely some BILK and JIG type palys, but they're not frequent in the vowel heavy pool and aren't huge. Sim has them very close
>rafi: EOS 10F OSE +31 317
>jackson: DIKLNST O12 DINK +38 305
#note can't really do DINK/SWAGED here to keep the maquis hook open, he has an S quite often (he played OSE quickly) and MAQUIS gets blocked a lot
>rafi: EH M8 EH +23 340
>jackson: AELORST A8 .ORESTAL +86 391
#note killer draw! Not at all out of the water yet, the pool is ugly, especially since Rafi seems to be keeping well
>rafi: BDIJNOR 14A .BO +10 350
>jackson: EIIJLNO 13C JOIN +40 431
#note although my leave can really go south with the Is, I think JOIN beats most bingoes cause I will have endgame tempo and he'll have 5 tiles, making it difficult for him to draw multiple outs.
>rafi: DEGINNS 15C ENDINGS +90 440
>jackson: EILLORU 11H RULE +18 449
#note this was amazing - he has OIDIO(ID)!!!
I took a while here because I was like 95% sure of SWAGER but didn't want to risk it if I could help it. There are two wins here that don't use SWAGER - LIE/LID and LOUIE 12D - LOUIE saves L(OSE)R to go out, and if Rafi blocks he cripples his rack and I easily outrun him. LIE/LID is tough because he blocks LOUR 12D with DO, and I have to play LUR(K)/LIEU and go out the next turn.
LOUIE is definitely findable, but I missed it and risked SWAGER being no good
>rafi: DIIOO - +0 440
#note rafi was in the same state of sureness of SWAGER but has to challenge. he has 5 million spread so he can lose some
>jackson: ILO E4 LO.I +12 461
>jackson: (DIIOO) +12 473
