#note I've got pretty good letters, and I should be pressing the issue and opening lanes rather than blocking a useful vowel for my consonant-heavy leave.

#note NORMAN has the same EV even though LN is typically worse than LR. I guess ILN might be better than ILR?

#note for some reason I chickened out of HELIO this game. HEIL would also be a major upgrade.

#note tricky pre-endgame, what to try? my idea with this was to block the R and wait, and possibly draw LAPJE/POLJE, but I also drop my odds of pulling the blank if it remains unseen. After the game I wanted to play INFILL at 8J, but that gives Sandy a golden chance of simply bingoing out through the L to win. Now I think PEN at N10 looks most proactive - block some column N bingos, turn over 3 tiles, and block column O next turn. but this comes at the cost of giving her a place to play bingos sometimes.

#note at the time I was quite worried about Sandy scoring with HADJ, but there's not so much I can do to prevent it anyway. The best play I can find is counter-intuitive - NIL at L6 leaving ELNP. The reason it has a chance is because I retain the draw for LAPJE/POLJE, and drawing an A is particularly destructive because I can draw PENAL at N10 for a huge score. Just playing PEN usually loses because it either gives up a column O bingo, or just gets outrun when I don't draw the A for the PENAL extension.

#note her best play, nice find. Blocking plays like this is part of why NIL was a strong play.

#note the only win, only had a couple of seconds to find it. Lucked into one of the 9.5 endgames that I could win.
