#player1 Bryn Bryn
#player2 Jared Jared
>Bryn: EINNOTT 8G TONTINE +66 66
#note This placement looks to be simming best. I figured the E was the best floater to hang below since the DWS since parellels there will either open a triple or shut down the highest scoring part of the board. I don't really like the I in column K, but long-term I like this. He either parallels and I have a lead on a board that's hard to score on, or he plays long on column K/M, and I would prefer a shootout against Jared anyway.
>Jared: EFK 7K KEF +31 31
>Bryn: AAEHMNS 9F HAM +16 82
#note Toughhhh move. I was really worried I was missing a bingo, but I saw the only 8 that plays (HEADSMAN). HAM is pretty bad according to the duck, but a couple things I like about it: I hold an S, so should have scoring possibilities on either column E or N if I don't draw a bingo. Even if he has a hook I have a decent chance of drawing a bailout. I am in trouble if I draw crap and he hits one of the hooks. Obviously I missed HAKIM which is the play. I don't like HAEN against Jared.

>Jared: FX 5M F.X +13 64

#note Super lazy, played almost instantly; no clue why I played this.

>Jared: ELLR K7 ..LLER +20 174
>Bryn: AEINTTU C2 .AUNTIE +22 241
#note Knew Jared would hate this, but it sims really well. That said, TENUTI 11D or ETUI 11E are clearly superior.
>Jared: ACHT 8A TH.CA +39 213
>Bryn: AEGIORT 11C GOA +14 255
#note Really tough move. Lots of defensible angles to take - need to improve my decision making process on plays like this. Spent a bunch of time considering things I didn't like, and ended up choosing something out of frustation that doesn't look very good. A move like this is pretty timid; while not terrible, it neither accomplishes much nor offers all that much potential for me next turn. The mega-fishy 4L MOJO looks kinda appealing, but it only bingos 23% of the time next turn (about as much as my play). AIGRET and ORGEAT 11A are awesome, no need to be bingo-building at this point in the game, even if things are relatively open. Really great lesson here: always need to ask "what am I accomplishing with this move" before pulling the trigger.
