#note this is a golden opportunity to really uglify the board and score a lot with 10F ZIPS. I don't know though; it is just not my style. I was very tempted but eventually decided on SPRITZ. I feel more comfortable on that type of board. I need to learn to be more comfortable on boards that result from ZIPS, because I had a feeling that was a slightly better play. Quackle thinks it's about a half point better; I would probably rate it a bit higher than that.

#note there's a Y. after playing SPRITZ, i came upon the uneasy realization that SPRITZY is also a word so i wanted to block that ASAP. really, i simultaneously love and hate making moves like SPRITZ. i like scoring a lot of points, and i like some measure of openness, especially against a more defensive player, but i really should learn to be more comfortable with plays like ZIPS.
