>Avery: AAAEIST -AAA +0 0
>Fern_Lindzon: INOQU 8D QUOIN +48 48
>Avery: AEIORST H8 .OTARISE +77 77
#note Chosen over NOTARIES to avoid putting an S in a triple-word lane.
>Fern_Lindzon: DOSU D8 .UODS +30 78
>Avery: EHLTTTV 11G V.LET +16 93
#note Burned a lot of time here and flat out missed that TETH plays at I11, despite looking there! This seems as good as anything, though maybe T(I)LTH is worth thinking about?
>Fern_Lindzon: ?AADEGR 15A GADAREn. +80 158
>Avery: HKOOPTT 14B KOP +37 130
#note I knew KOTO would be statically higher, but this sets up my O.
>Fern_Lindzon: AAENNOX G11 .OX +40 198
#note Actual rack
>Avery: CEHOTTT 10J TETCH +26 156
#note Not a word! I wanted to develop the right side of the board and prevent easy defensive scores at 10J.
>Fern_Lindzon: AAEIINN M9 A.INI +16 214
>Avery: EEIOTUV L12 ETUI +16 172
#note Pivotal play. I considered 9J UVEA, 11B VIDE, and this. The other two plays leave poorly and don't really develop anything great, so I decided to block this area. UVEA sims best.
>Fern_Lindzon: ADEEINN N12 DEN +15 229
#note She regretted this after playing it. I noted E8 UNDE.
>Avery: BEEHOVY 13A HOB +35 207
#note Actually a really good draw. I opted for this to take 35 and save the Y for TETCHY. I feel like a few months ago I would have been frustrated and played F4 BEHOOVE to force open the board. A sim strongly favors taking O7 BEVY for 50, which I guess I see.
>Fern_Lindzon: AEIN 15L .NIA +17 246
>Avery: AEEJUVY O5 VEEJAY +71 278
#note It certainly paid off to not play BEVY.
>Fern_Lindzon: ADEEILM E10 MAID +26 272
#note LAMEDH is awesome.
>Avery: GNORTUY A8 TROUG. +36 314
>Fern_Lindzon: BEEFLWZ 9G F.B +24 296
#note Post-mortem, we went all the way back to this turn and thought about what she could have done. She was worried I had an S by now and that column I could pose a threat. The pool is extremely consonant heavy (only 7 unseen, not counting the Y or blank), so things like B7 BEEF seem unfavorable. I don't mind this at all. CP picks BEEF, which seems very surprising to me.
>Avery: AINNORY N6 YO +28 342
>Fern_Lindzon: EEELSWZ B6 ZEE +34 330
#note Morris came by after the game and noted 14H SEZ, or even better, M5 EEW, setting up her E with only one unseen! CP picks M4 SLEW, which I find very unusual, but the S isn't really that good on this board, and her leave of EEZ occasionally turns into 50 point plays at L1.
>Avery: ACILNRR C2 CRINAL +32 374
#note Thought this was good too! But it's not. Just CRINOID I guess.
>Fern_Lindzon: ?EGLSWW - +0 330
#note She tried to exchange here, but there's only 4 in the bag! She has to pass her turn now, which is a huge swing.
>Avery: AELNPRS D4 NAP +30 404
>Fern_Lindzon: ?EGLSWW 10A .W +13 343
>Avery: EFILRRS M3 FLIER +28 432
#note Best.
>Fern_Lindzon: ?EGLMSW 4B W..G +8 351
#note She mistracked!
>Avery: RS K9 R..S +9 441
>Avery: (ELMS?) +12 453
