It was the first game, and I hadn't really played on a board in a while, so I started to feel very unconfident about my ability to be able to win this game. I tanked here and after getting lost in my thoughts for a while, I made this weak play. For unknown reasons, I was too opposed to blocking row 4, since I felt I needed to bingo. Wow, I made a mess of this game.

#note Well, at least I'm consistent in playing my worst in my first game of every tournament. Definitely had a lot of ways to lose this game but lucked out. Lee played very well the whole tournament as I observed her - playing much higher than her rating indicates. I really wish I had more over-the-board practice. ISC just doesn't cut it sometimes.
