>Avery: DGINORT -D +0 0
>Joe_Gatz: ACEHLOT 8E ECHO +18 18
#note Actual rack - CHOLATE plays.
>Avery: AGINORT 9G ORATING +70 70

>Avery: ?EFIIUU C11 .FUI +18 103
>Joe_Gatz: AJR 7C JAR +20 83
>Avery: ?EINNRU 6D NeURINE +64 167
#note He spent a while to play JAR, so I inferred a strong leave and therefore didn't want to play 11I UNRISEN. This also has the positional advantage of blocking the double-double lane.
>Joe_Gatz: BDNO 8K BO.ND +34 117
>Avery: AAEFINW 5C FAWN +37 204
>Joe_Gatz: KTTY 14B K.TTY +40 157
>Avery: AEEIPRV 5J PAVER +24 228
#note Sacrificing some equity to block the D. I missed D11 LEPTA, but I also wanted to take out row 5, which seemed to be the most viable bingo lane. I discarded options like 15F AIVER also because although they take out row 15, they give back a new, easier-to-hit lane on row 14 and also set up an R hook on row 13.

>Joe_Gatz: ITZ 12J ZIT +37 248
>Avery: ?EEIOOT 15A OI +12 277
#note I think for some reason I thought I was being smart and blocking QI/XI, failing to see that he had given himself a new spot for it...
>Joe_Gatz: AAGIIOQ 11K QI +46 294
#note Yeah, I felt silly after this
>Avery: ?EEOSST O1 rETOSSE. +88 365
>Avery: ?EEOSST -- -88 277
#note I always remember that OERSTEDS has an anagram, but think it's this over DOSSERET. I've started making a notebook full of alphagrams that have words like these that I constantly think are good, but have valid anagrams (example: UNGRAZED*/GAZUNDER). I didn't have a whole lot of time to study before this tournament due to school being a thing, but I was still pretty annoyed with myself for this one.
>Joe_Gatz: ADINR 15K DRAIN +24 318
>Avery: ?EEOSST O2 OErSTE.S +69 346
#note CESTODES scores one more point, but I was a bit too frustrated.
>Joe_Gatz: DEO N2 DOE. +19 337
>Avery: AAGILMX 14M AX +38 384
#note Spaced on the AJAR hook. Need to do a better job of controlling my frustration midgame.
>Joe_Gatz: EEELRSS 15F EE. +14 351
>Avery: AGILM 4A GLIM +35 419
#note At least I got the second half of the endgame right... not that that counts for anything
>Joe_Gatz: ELRSS L3 RE.S +14 365
>Avery: A 7B A... +11 430
#note Undeserving win - using this as motiviation to study a bit before Boston in a month.
>Avery: (LS) +4 434
