#note Didn't want to give back major hooks by playing OOZE. OUZO to get rid of the U was tempting, but the 10 point sacrifice was a bit too much.
>Guy_Ingram: AILT K3 LITA +17 98
#note Ugh, I sort of knew in the back of my head LITA is bogus. I've guessed it before errantly on that rack. There are a lot. ALIT/TAIL/TALI/LATI. I get it confused because of LITAI, I think. That, and LITAS has a sticky S.
>Ryan_Fischer: EFOTUVW M9 WOE +36 129
#note FEW is 43, OUTF(L)EW is 30. WOE is 36, but a horrendous leave. Should've looked a bit harder.
>Guy_Ingram: INQ L2 QIN +30 128
>Ryan_Fischer: AEFRTUV G7 FAUVE +28 157
#note Best. EMOVED is also good. Wasn't 100% on AMOVED, and forgot that one.
>Guy_Ingram: AINRY H11 RAINY +29 157
>Ryan_Fischer: ?NRSTTY 10K ...T +15 172
#note Wow, missed TYRaNTS, eNTRY(I)ST, and TRYST(I)Ng. I was happy with this setup, too. It's not even better than T(EX)T. N(EX)T sims a bit better too, but that doesn't seem to accomplish much. The setup doesn't appear on static because it scores so little, but at least it sims almost as good as the bingos.
>Guy_Ingram: DHI M1 HID +33 190
>Ryan_Fischer: ?INRSTY O4 STRINgY +97 269
#note Didn't know TRYpSIN, STYRING, or NITRYLS, but they all score the same. SINTeRY too.
>Guy_Ingram: EN N1 EN +33 223
#note Guy's response: "Deal with my staircase, fool!" What can I say, trash-talk Scrabble is fun. I lolled.
>Ryan_Fischer: ADHNRSW 1M ..W +27 296
#note "Fishing off a W. Better look out now!"
>Guy_Ingram: ACLL 11C CALL.. +16 239
>Ryan_Fischer: ADHKNRS D9 DH.K +24 320
#note I should play this word at K11. DHANSAK and KHANDA are good to know, too! DANSAK too. Didn't recall CHANK either.
>Guy_Ingram: EMRR 15D MERR. +13 252
>Ryan_Fischer: ADENRST 13K N..T +24 344
#note (ZOO)T is a bit better. Didn't remember T(EX).
>Guy_Ingram: CEI F5 ICE +16 268
>Ryan_Fischer: ADEEGRS 14B GRADE +29 373
#note I chickened out on S(ICE) because I got away with S(ACE)* at nationals. It's SAICE. Oh well. Missed GREASED as a result.
>Guy_Ingram: AFIRSTT I12 IF +20 288
>Ryan_Fischer: AEGLSSU 4C GAULS +18 391
#note Missed SAULGES. Didn't know it. This is bogus. It's spelled GALL, duh. Whoops!
>Guy_Ingram: APRSTTU E3 T.P +18 306

#note Holy crap, this championship player evaluation with 2 in the bag, holding the blank, took like 10 minutes on my old laptop! Crazy. According to champ, if I'm not careful, I can lose, so I was right in fishing off the E for 7 here. I'm not sure why E(S) rates better, though. The problem might have been I had it set on 2-ply. Many ply moved a bit better, but not by much.
When I change it to many ply, it has (H)E losing. That's just absolutely wrong. With 1 in the bag, the only way I can lose is if my fish whiffs and he pulls a bingo in two places that scores enough to catch me. Since I have the P and the G, his bingos aren't going to score a lot. So, I'm not sure about Champ's logic.
Long story short, Champ sucks at some endgames. Simming (H)E wins 100%.
