>Joanne_Craig: DEFGOO 8D GOOFED +26 26
>Lipey: AAAAEHO 9G AHA +23 23
#note This is better than exchanging, but only barely. Besides the equity there's some value in making the board slightly harder to work with (blocking the open E, restricting 7H plays, etc)
>Joanne_Craig: DGINOT 10B DOTING +21 47
>Lipey: AAEEJOX 9C JA +38 61
#note Still scoring, working my way through the mess.
>Joanne_Craig: HNS C9 ..HNS +30 77
>Lipey: AEEILOX 12A XE.IA +40 101
>Joanne_Craig: ILNN F12 LINN +19 96
>Lipey: ADELLOO A11 A.LED +39 140
#note It's nice when the natural play also does what you want positionally, ie take out the nine timer.
>Joanne_Craig: ??CEENU 15A .ENoU.CEd +80 176
#note 1) She had the nine timer
2) This is a really great play!
3) There is one bonus that's three points more.
>Lipey: AIILOOY 14H AIOLI +10 150
#note The best plays here make JOHNSON which I totally missed!

>Joanne_Craig: EEY 10I EYE +18 194
>Lipey: BMOTTWY 15L TOWY +36 186
>Joanne_Craig: EPZ 13L ZEP +40 234
#note Oy. Three mice unseen, this dangerous opening, and I am holding garbage.
>Lipey: BIMRTUV 11K MIRV +26 212
#note I didn't see VITREUM but it's gotta be better. I was hoping to reduce the impact of the O column hook -- 8 points for the hook instead of 15 -- while moving half if the UV antisynergy, but playing more tiles is probably a priority here to try and race to the mouse.
>Joanne_Craig: GI 13I GI +12 246
>Lipey: BDIKTUU -BDIKTUU +0 212
#note Yeah, there's plays here. E5 KUDO is fine - scores a bit, the leave isn't great but is balanced with a bit of synergy, and starts to develop the top left. L8 BUDI is interesting because it'll set up an 8L play to block the mouse hook that I still don't have.
>Joanne_Craig: QRRRRVW -QVRRRRW +0 246
#note This is a dummy rack, but exch 7 after GI for 12 is unexpected.
>Lipey: EEMNPRW 14N EM +31 243
>Joanne_Craig: AFIK 9K FAIK +20 266
>Lipey: ENPRUUW -UUW +0 243
#note uwu was not my face when I drew UU after EM.

Probably should have chucked the P here as well.

PUNK is the only play Quackle comes up with but I don't really like it.
>Joanne_Craig: OOSTT O5 TOOTS +27 293
>Lipey: EELNPRT N2 REPEL +24 267
#note Simming this, Q likes N4 LEPT. That's going to get blocked all of the time; my hope is that she doesn't have Q or V or something nifty like that to block with. The scores seem close but I'm actually a huge dog here -- the sim puts win % at 1 in 6 for LEFT (and 1 in 10 for REPEL) and with the board so unfriendly to bingos, and me a solid tempo down coming into the pre-endgame, seems about right.
>Joanne_Craig: BBU M3 BUB +31 324
>Lipey: ENQRRTU L8 R.N. +12 279
#note I am not good at pre-endgames. This seems a hard one. Champ Player suggests L7 QUA. This is reasonable, sez Quackle, but I'm still in huge trouble. Without drawing the O for the L3 square it'll be hard for me to develop new real estate. Maybe I should fish the R and a) I hit REQUINTO and b) she doesn't block it? *grimacing emoji*
>Joanne_Craig: ACT L4 CAT +30 354
#note Leaves six in the bag.
>Lipey: EQRRTUU K6 UR +4 283
#note Championship player says I'm drawing dead here, and suggests TORI at E7, which completely gives up. Maybe this will open a spot for my Q?
>Joanne_Craig: AORSSVW J4 VOR +13 367
>Lipey: DEIQRTU 5I D. +3 286
>Joanne_Craig: ASSW H4 WAS +14 381
#note Ignoring the DO play is best here, of course I have nothing. We're both low on time; IIRC I'm very low on time.
>Lipey: EIQRTU 6B REQUIT. +20 306
#note How low on time? This low, apparently.
>Lipey: (S) +2 308
#note Not sure how the final score of 381-304 was gotten. Maybe I'll email NASPA and ask for a correction.
