Any scoring play using the D12 square will leave Joel down a tempo with a feckless underpopulated rack. I suppose the realest risk here is if he's drawn something like DASHPOT that plays on row 2. Even then DASHPOT puts him up only 18 so if I can score 30 with the bunny -- with that floating Z there to aid me -- I should be home.
