>Jim: BDEEFIW 8B BEWIFED +90 90
>Jim: BDEEFIW -- -90 0
#note Quite a reasonable try, I'd say
>Will: CDENPST 8G PEND +14 14
#note Playing at 8E is a smidge better than the normal 8G, since it reduces his score for WIFE by two points.
>Jim: BDEEFIW 9F WIFE +25 25
>Will: BCLNSTT H6 CL..T +10 24
>Jim: ADEF 6F FA.ED +23 48
>Will: ABNSTUV 5I BANTU +21 45
#note I thought about 11C VAUNTS but balked at making the big A hook, which could score a ton in many situations. Quackle still prefers it. I could do 11D VAUTS# to avoid that hooking problem.

#note I saw HIKE but somehow didn't realize it was 26 points. Oops.
>Jim: EWX J10 WEX +47 252
>Will: AEHIILR 12I I..A +22 320
#note I wasn't loving how the last few turns were unfolding for me, but this move is a big error. IXIA scores well and keeps a balanced leave, but the EHILR leave is extremely poor for playing on the new row 13 line IXIA creates. It's far, far better to play 15N HI, scoring about as well as IXIA and blocking the AGAVES hook. ELIXIR is also a solid improvement over IXIA, scoring better and at least creating a potential place to score with my H.
>Jim: DRT D3 T.RD +8 260
>Will: EHILRRS F9 .HIR +18 338
#note Case S draw put my nerves at ease. I figured I would gun for the big blow rather than cash RELISH.
>Jim: OR J1 OR +9 269
>Will: ?EGGLRS O8 LoGGERS +87 425
#note And now the blank, total overkill. I couldn't think of GLURGES#.
>Jim: EZ 6B ZE. +33 302
>Will: HJLNNTU 13G JUN +22 447
>Jim: DEIOR 1J .ROIDE +24 326
>Will: AHILNTU E11 TUIN. +16 463
#note Heh, forgot to track the letters I drew after JUN and was setting myself up for a TUINA - LAH 7A combo. Obviously LAH now is correct. Last game of the EB, I can forgive it.
