>John_Stardom: ?AAEORS 8G ROSAcEA +64 64
>Joshua_Sokol: DDHNPVW J6 WH.P +20 20
#note ugh position. Keeping DN and exchanging sims slightly ahead of this, and it's probably sensible given that John will just shut lanes down.
>John_Stardom: JY M7 J.Y +25 89
>Joshua_Sokol: CDDNNTV -CDDNV +0 20
#note all exchanges too close for commentary
>John_Stardom: II -II +0 89
>Joshua_Sokol: DEINNOT 9B INTONED +66 86
#note maybe INDENTO(R) following his fishy exchange.
>John_Stardom: AAEENRS D3 SERENA.A +68 157
#note first laying down ARSENA(T)E, then switching. This is important information.
>Joshua_Sokol: ACGHIMP 5C G.AMP +20 106
#note this is where my mishaps begin. I had no idea what to do here, so I played this to balance, create opportunities for the board to open up (GRAMP)A etc., and keep CHI(A) for 34 in my pocket. It's much better to play CHI(A) now. GAMP isn't too bad on this board as a leave.
>John_Stardom: EOZ 8A ZOE. +43 200
#note ouch
>Joshua_Sokol: CDEHIIU 3A CUI.HED +30 136
#note I am now getting CUISHED*..., so it's time to phony
>John_Stardom: BEORV 2F BEVOR +31 231
>Joshua_Sokol: FIMSTTV I1 M.TIF +11 147
#note somehow I missed V(O)MIT in the same spot.
I got very fixated on the fact that I had the S for SERENATAS and that John probably doesn't realize that SERENATA takes an S. So I was attempting to exploit this.
>John_Stardom: AEEINT 1I .ATINEE +32 263

>John_Stardom: DIK A1 DI.K +48 311
>Joshua_Sokol: EGIILWY 6F YEW +36 266
#note need a miracle now
>John_Stardom: AFL E8 L.AF +30 341
>Joshua_Sokol: GIILLNS 12E SILLING +67 333
#note and I got it. I drew SILLING*. However SILLING did not seem like it was a word, so the whole time John was thinking about his play, I was lamenting the fact that he would probably challenge SILLING*/SERENATAS and the play would come off. So now that he has played LOAF I immediately see that I can hook LOAFS and he probably won't challenge since he's ahead if he lets the play go. And I totally space out on the F he has just given me. Considering what he had, I actually would have most likely won the game if I had stopped for a moment to see FILLINGS. Ouch. I totally blew this game from the get-go though.
>John_Stardom: DEGILNO 13I DOING +28 369
#note We saw that ELOIGN after FILLINGS would probably lose to the same sequence that ensued. The extra 7 points for FILLINGS and the 5 fewer points for ELOIGN made a world of difference.
>Joshua_Sokol: AABORTU N5 ABA +33 366
#note I wanted to block QUEE(R) but t might be in my interest not to. I think it's smart to go straight for the Q and QU(OI)T B6 by playing the extra tile and scoring 3 more. Quackle agrees half of the time I click "Ask Championship Player"
>John_Stardom: EELX 3I .ELEX +27 396
#note I saw (T)ELEX pretty quickly once I replenished my rack and knew it would win John the game. Just hoped he made a chokier play. But he's the CNSC runner up. So nah.
>Joshua_Sokol: CORTTUU 1C TUTOR +15 381
#note now just hoping he misses CU(Z) and tries to block (E)CU in some weird way to attempt to C-stick me. with (X)U or something. But I still have (I)C(E) so far from anything I expected to happen.
>John_Stardom: IOQU 4H Q. +21 417
#note first put down (DICK)QUI(Z), then inexplicably switched to this
>Joshua_Sokol: CU A6 CU. +14 395
