#note Interesting! I also considered ARAK M3, TRANK L11, GRANA M3, and KNArR D8 (which is phony, oops). There's also KNARRY L3. And maybe something else.

#note I could just do CARRACK, but DEILRT didn't look especially strong here. It does hit some tiles, mostly with the open E. I played this to block. It's not a perma-block, though, because Ken can fork the board by playing through the C, and there are still good spots on this board besides (row 6, row 14 Q plays). Seems OK tho.

#note Ah, I missed a bingo here too: HuRRAHED. The other play I considered here was REACH, but this blocked his strongest bingos and seemed to have decent chances vs. AVENGERS, which I was I think the only thing I saw. There's some reason to go for spread here, since if Carl wins, I can pass him for second by winning by 60 more points or so. Can HuRRAHED end badly? He can certainly get big plays like GAUZE, GRAZE, and AGAZE. Might those spell the end for me sometimes? It actually seems hard for them to: I tried to create situations where he wins after them, and I couldn't (though I didn't try very hard). So maybe bingoing is best here.

#note After looking at what Champ thinks about some of the situations that happen later, I'm convinced that Champ often doesn't know what it's talking about when it comes to stick endgames.
