#note not sure... really starting to hate my position so I wanted to do something more open. DOR(R) sims best. ROLLUP can be paralleled too eastily, I think DORR is fine.

#note felt like c2 votive kept things open more long term cause of the B column it opens - this votive I played also lowers his bingo% a bit now. seems fine given I'm at a slight advantage

#note I was and am very happy with 6th place at my second D1 nationals, especially since it was my first time feeling like a contender going in. After quackling these games I feel astonished and hopeful at the sheer amount of mistakes I made and at how much I have left to improve. I missed a lot of bingoes, I analyzed many positions too simply or just dumbly, I missed a lot of candidate plays. I have a lot left to learn about the nuances of preendgames, I have a lot of words to sort out in my head, and I have a lot of work to do on staying calm in adverse situations: always making sure to just look for more plays.
There were a lot of plays I'm happy I made, either because my analysis was solid or because it was a non-obvious find. I am left feeling like there were a lot of things I could have easily done differently - there are very few games from the NASC where I have no idea why I lost. I can't wait to keep improving.
