#player1 Jackson Jackson
#player2 Orry_Swift Orry Swift
>Jackson: ADEGLNN -N +0 0
#note I could do GLAND - orry will react to my exchange, but this feels better than gland anyway - I hit with 62/94 tiles!
>Orry_Swift: IQ 8G QI +22 22
>Jackson: ADEGHLN H6 GH. +7 7
#note maybe HI, but I feel like he'll be able to react super defensively to that - 6f plays making AHI can really kill my bingo chances. GHI really lowers his average score and forces him to open or play for nothing
>Orry_Swift: ADOP 6F PA.OD +19 41
>Jackson: ADELMNT K5 MANTLED +100 107
#note this worked out about as well as I could hope
>Orry_Swift: ADINV J10 DIVAN +25 66
>Jackson: AEELOOT J5 O.EA +13 120
>Orry_Swift: STVY 13I V.STY +30 96
>Jackson: DEILOOT K13 .OD +6 126
#note he played VASTY really quickly, and I feel like if he didn't have another S he would not be so confident. turns out he didn't have another S with this! SOD wins a sim with PRS implied, which is about what I expected him to have. with no S implied it does a lot worse
>Orry_Swift: NORW 15K .ROWN +30 126
>Jackson: AEILORT O8 RELATIO. +77 203
#note another situation that worked out way better than I could hope
>Orry_Swift: EEFK N6 KEEF +28 154
>Jackson: ?CGHINR O4 CHI +17 220
#note I think I failed to realise that CHI set up an S lane on the M column - I was worried about playing 9e CHI because it allows him to open the top left, which right now isn't very open. the S lane on the M column isn't great cause it has to usually be -ST words but it's still something I'll have to deal with. I think I should bite the bullet and do CHI/QI here
>Orry_Swift: GISZ M3 ZIGS +35 189
>Jackson: ?EGNRUY 5E GUY +23 243
#note QUERYING!!! I'm not even sure that GUY is worse than that but I gotta see it
>Orry_Swift: MU 12L UM +19 208
>Jackson: ?EENNRT 4F TREE +16 259
#note could do N(OM) here... I liked that TREE really cuts off the GUY flower so that it can't be re-opened unless he plays at H1, which I can then close off again. tree also scores extra points which is nice when Orry seems to be trying to outscore me from his deficit
>Orry_Swift: BRU 3I BUR +15 223
>Jackson: ??BLNNU J2 N. +4 263
#note really fortunate that I was able to address the X setup so easily and without giving anything back - no Gs left and I have the last two blanks
also it's crazy when the 4th best static play is a 15 point play spending the blank
UNBLINDED is the only bingo here, but def doing NU over that
this is one of those interesting positions where I would not call UNBLINDED a miss, since my whole energy should be focused on the X setup, and once I see the strength of NU I can eliminate basically any other play. Last turn, querying was definitely a miss because GUY wasn't so foolproof that I could stop my search for better plays
>Orry_Swift: EIINORX 2I O.E +10 233
>Jackson: ??BLNRU 1C NeBULaR +77 340
#note and I even draw the N... I didn't want to do BUNGLER or BUNDLER or anything cause putting the B at c1 allows many more bingoes than putting the N there. seemed worth the 3 point sacrifice cause at this point I just want to avoid the possibility of him bingoing twice
>Orry_Swift: EERSX 1K SEXER +42 275
>Jackson: AFIJNOS 9E AJI +23 363
#note JO i9 surely... this leaves 5 in the bag so orry can't bingo twice, at least
>Orry_Swift: AIIL 8B ILIA +7 282
>Jackson: EFNOOPS 7A FOES +15 378
#note I could just leave it alone with FOP
>Orry_Swift: AACITTW 2B WAT +15 297
>Jackson: ENOP 6A OPE +30 408
#note PE is 5 better for spread
>Orry_Swift: ACIT A2 TIC +15 312
>Jackson: N C1 ..N +6 414
>Jackson: (A) +2 416
