#note moment of truth: maybe I do 7A OX but I can still get outscored or bingoes on from the O column. ELITE likely holds vowels and so putting the E at c1 is slightly less dangerous than usual. That being said, my position after OX is actually better than I remember it being, so maybe I should just go with that. EXTORT is needlessly risky

#note there are three places to bingo on the board right now: vertically through FIVER (columns A and B), horizontally off of ULU (rows 13 and 14), and column O from the R in DOZIER. I am at basically no risk of being outrun with my comfortable lead and good rack, so my goal is to either block bingoes or outrun bingoes.
VARS leaves pretty much only bingoes from the R at O8 (maybe the occasional bingo through the U or F but very occasional). O column bingoes will mostly score in the 79-85 point range, putting me down 12-18 points. He'll have 5 tiles, and I should be able to outrun in the endgame since drawing one of AIIOO gives me H?(V)E for 42, and as long as he doesn't draw unblockable outs with 5 tiles, I can do an out in two and win. V(U)G and V(U)GH are the spread plays, but don't block the F, and can get outrun more often if Frank bingoes.

#note totally missed PELITE! PHAGE is 53. this is one downside to spending my S, where I could get some situations like this where I can't properly block everything - luckily the pool wasn't too frightening, but giving him a free chance to fish is annoying.
