>Jackson: DEFIORS H4 FIORD +26 26
#note statically, fiord is 0.2 better than OF!
I like fiord cause I would like an open board against howard, fiord sets up my S and doesn't give back many easy parallels. of course this was a terrible idea and the open board thing backfired!
>pistol: AIKNU 4H .UNKIA +26 26
>Jackson: AEEMRST - +0 26
#note totally did not recognize funkia. yeeesh
>pistol: ADI 5J AID +25 51
>Jackson: AEEMRST 8H .ESTREAM +86 112
>pistol: JO G6 JO +22 73
>Jackson: AEELNOQ L2 QA.. +14 126
#note I could exchange here, but with my lead I went for the extra sure points, despite eelno being a pretty polar leave. exchanging EOQ sims best by a point and a half
>pistol: ET I6 TE. +18 91
>Jackson: EEILNOT 7M OLE +13 139
>pistol: ?CEIPST L7 P.ICiEST +78 169
>Jackson: BEINNTV M1 VIN. +29 168
>pistol: EGHINRS 12F REHING.S +66 235
>Jackson: BDEGNOT 13B BONGED +31 199
#note thought about thong but that closes things down a lot - bonged leaves the 11 and 9 and 14 rows.
>pistol: CEMO B10 COM.E +34 269
>Jackson: AAAHTUV 10J VA.UA +20 219
#note damn I missed a good board opening opportunity - AVAU(N)T d9! the problem is that it can be easily blocked, and based on his plays later on, I think howard would definitely do that. I could still win by outscoring though, where I respond to a small block with an X bomb or another high scoring play. If he doesn't block the opening I can keep opening the board and win that way. VACUA doesn't accomplish very much besides hoping for a D column/14 row bingo or X bomb. I am in a really bad position because of COMBE hooks - AVAUNT nicely blocks that.
>pistol: ABIRU 15A URBIA +36 305
>Jackson: AHIPRTT 14F PHT +32 251
#note hoping to win by outscoring, drawing the Z or X would help. I am hoping that this mini triple opening serves as a distraction.
>pistol: DEEORTX 15H OX +33 338
>Jackson: AGIORTZ F7 GRIZ +39 290
#note I considered TROG/TORE to set up an 8 row Z bomb, also hoping for ES, E?, or S? for ZETAS. TROG also fakes an S setup and might incite a small block. At this point I need a big bingo or Z play to win. GRIZ is pretty silly cause it blocks the F7 spot as a place to set up an S later on. I'm expecting to make a 10a forking play at somet point.
>pistol: FLW 11A W.LF +10 348
>Jackson: ?ADLNOT 9E L.D +6 296
#note I saw DALEDH and thought about phonying with it... except it's a word! DALEDH can lead to outscoring which is pretty cool. LID can be blocked as it was, with a play to the F. It might be wiser to play something like E8 AL - it's not super easy to make a word that can't be paralleled going up the D column, unless he plunks the W. I think daledh is definitely the play
>pistol: I D10 I. +5 353
>Jackson: ?AENOTW 1M .OW +27 323
#note silly to think I could ever outrun here - I should do WANTE(R) and hope he can't properly block, or maybe I could potentially outrun with an S draw and QIS/SOs.
>pistol: ESTY 14J YE.TS +32 385
>Jackson: ?AENRTU - +0 323
#note only way I saw I could win was by challenging this off and playing I3 NU to go for OUTRAGE and have him unable to block. long shot that probably isn't worth wasting the spread for. with all the spread sacrifices I made, I can't believe my spread ended up so high at the end
>pistol: AEELNOY 15N OY +17 402
>Jackson: ?AENRTU 6M TAR +18 341
>pistol: AEELN 15H ..EN +18 420
>Jackson: ?ENU N1 .sE +29 370
#note another really sloppy game - challenging funkia, playing griz and vow, not being sure of daledh, not seeing the nice avaunt opportunity.
>pistol: AEL 8C LEA. +7 427
