#note super cool that statically, GAP(E), P(E)G, GA(M)P, and REPAC(K) are all within a point of one another! I really liked the scoring defense of GAMP, and he might think I hold an S given what it does to the board (I often won't play for so few points while making the board S-friendly without an S in hand). PAGE and such give back a big scoring spot. I can do PEG as well but I doubted how good ACERT was on this board. Q disagrees and has PEG simming best, ahead of GAMP by 3 points! My bingo % jumps from 30 to 50 by holding the A.
he averages 8 more points after GAPE than GAMP, scoring defense is the best
>Sokol: EILOOUV I6 .OOVE +22 58
#note hard to pinpoint his range here, but an S is likely, so I think I6 (P)OILU to reduce the score of his S might be better. EOV is significantly better than ILU, and I didn't like that this gave him an E to work with, he might have consos or I'm just giving him an 8. POILU looks better.
>Jackson: CELRSST J2 CELTS +27 40
>Sokol: DIILRTU J10 DUI +15 73
#note was not 100% LURID did not take an S, but this seemed to be a bit better regardless. J10 LURID does prevent me from getting into annoying positions with a non-scoring rack, but DUI works pretty often, and he might have another S so this blocks POOVES and doesn't give another S hook.
>Jackson: AGINRSX H10 RAXING +70 110
#note and i'm feeelin gooood
>Sokol: AIIILRT 2J .ILIA +14 87
#note started feeling a bit desparate here, but not enough to open the left side with 5C ILIA for 3 less, 11E ILI(A) or TRAI(K)
>Jackson: DORSTVW N1 V.W +9 119
#note hmm do I just do DIVOT here? Maybe VID, cause DORST can really go south and it's nice to have a scoring tile to maintain my lead with.
VAW has some psychological advantage of making him really paranoid since I'm fishing while ahead, and could even induce an occasional block. I think VID and DIVOT are good plays. DORST is not great here especially cause I have to bingo through an N or G or L, which is tough when I am keeping mostly consonants. Big oversight!
>Sokol: BBEIIRT G9 BIBE +29 116
#note also considered keeping the E for 10 less with BIB. The E is worth a lot here, but Quackle claims it's only worth 6-7 points on this board with IRT. I estimated something similar.

>Sokol: AIQRRRT 14F QI.TAR +37 153
>Jackson: ALNRSTU 4D TRUN. +18 167
#note UNKEMPT is cool! I think he'll block qintars a lot, and so it's nice to have the D column to occasionally hit after TRUNK. UNKEMPT still hits a bingo more often (38% vs. 30%). I end up scoring about the same after each play though, since ALS draws more high point tiles than ALRST.
>Sokol: EIJRRUY 15K EYRIR +38 191
#note notice how I've not been anywhere close to a bingo this whole game, and I chose a play that continued that trend. JU will never bingo. Ever! The other option is E2 JU(R)Y, which I might have done if it didn't keep duplicate R's rather an N or something. Chose to keep scoring instead.
>Jackson: AEEELSY 1K LEA.Y +43 210
>Sokol: ACFJLTU N12 FUJ. +28 219
#note did not see my other option, 12C CAU(DEX), but despite the risk of getting burned and basically losing the game on this turn, FUJ(I) looks kind of necessary.
>Jackson: ?EEOOOS 12L OO. +12 222
#note don't mind keeping vowels here - the O column demands a vowel-starting word, and the D column has a consonants to play through. I also want to block the O column scoring spot
>Sokol: ACILNRT L5 CILANTR. +61 280
#note I found Jackson's move to be odd. He probably thought that a bingo down from column O starting at O3 was extremely unlikely compared to one hooking the F in FUJI, which makes sense. He also probably had stuff that hit the T in TRUNK fairly often, or maybe he thought he could hit O3 first. In any case, this felt really dirty because I'm playing a bingo down to an O that he gave me. Instead of blocking me he gave me a ridiculous bingo. It looked better to sacrifice one point to not set up a huge score at 8L, even though Jackson clearly didn't have the means to score last turn. Down the line if he opens something else, I don't want to have that spot on my conscience even if he can't hit it immediately. However I am probably quite the favourite to hit it myself, so I somewhat regret ths placement. Just playing it safe.
>Jackson: ?EEEOSS K4 OE +16 238
>Sokol: ?EEFNWZ 13M W.Z +40 320
#note If I had played the other CILANTRO, I would probably have won this game on this turn. However, this is pretty winning in and of itself.
>Jackson: ?EEGNSS 8K S.GE +5 243
#note GES(T) d1 might be the play here. SAGE gets wrecked by an S or ? too often. I remember not being sure of GEST - I probably would have played it if I was sure of it. GEST doesn't give back as many points and still retains the 15 row bingo chance, which is how I hope to win the game.
>Sokol: ?EEFNOO O3 OOF +12 332
#note I still have FE(DEX). I believe I did see the option, however I felt it was best to keep as well as possible if Jackson managed to hit a bingo.
>Jackson: ?EEHINS 15A cHEESIN. +99 342
#note Maybe I should do SHEEtIN(G) instead - how often do I win without bingoing? I need to draw ?S for the O column if I plan on outscoring him, cause he can basically always do an out in two to outscore me. SHEEtING or SEEtHING raise my chance of drawing unblockable bingoes, which is probably what I need for the win. cheesing doesn't put me up by enough to reasonably outscore without a bingo, so I should maximize my chance of bingoing.
