#note Picked up VW. This was the thing with EDGING -- if Evans does bingo, I'm likely to pick up VW and have at the least VEER or WEER for a decent scoring counter. If he does have something for that row 1 hotspot, he empties and isn't bingoing. So your median bad case after EDGING is you give up like 87 to SMARTEN and then get 33 or 36 back with VOWER or VEER. As the tiles fell, he doesn't have the bing, so we trade plays and it's a wash.
