#player1 Avery Avery
#player2 W W
>Avery: ADEHOOZ H4 HAZED +44 44
#note Sims pretty close with OOZED, to my surprise, since this scores 8 more. OOZED with the first O on the star sims best.
>W: ADEGISY G7 YAG +25 25
>Avery: ??NOORT I3 dONaTOR +85 129
>W: BDEEIOS J3 OBE +17 42
#note Situation already extremely grim. CP also likes my play, which I think gives me volatility I badly need (and DOBE plays help me when I brick my draw).
>Avery: ACEFLSS 10F CELS +26 155
#note Maybe too excessive, but I didn't mind taking out the easiest bingo spot, offering nothing too big in response, and saving an S for K5.
>W: AADEFIS F8 FA.IA +21 63
>Avery: ADEFKLS 13A FLASKED +95 250
>Avery: ADEFKLS -- -95 155
#note He didn't even hold here.
>W: ADEGJST 13B GADJE +39 102
#note Simming against Avery's rack, my play of 13B GADJE actually does pretty well, but it's nevertheless a big mistake. The reason GADJE sims about as well as 13C JADE is that sim is giving him ALK(ANE)S every time afterwards, which is a far tougher play to spot than FAKE 12A and also burns his S, leaving him in much worse shape for the future.
>Avery: ADEFKLS 12A FAKE +45 200
>W: PSTTUVV -PTUVV +0 102
#note I had ceased to be surprised by draws like PTUVV at this point.
>Avery: DELNQSY 11E Q. +22 222
>W: BEGISTU 4H ...BIT +26 128
>Avery: DELNSTY 2J DYNEL +37 259
>W: EGILOSU H10 .IGULE +27 155
>Avery: AEIMRST O2 SMARTIE +90 349
>W: HIOPRSV 9E H.. +7 162
#note Shrug. Should probably pack it in and give up, but obviously spread was not a major concern of mine.
>Avery: ADIINOR 14H .IANOID +20 369
#note Trying to interfere with the 7s lanes if he can't hit column D.
>W: EIOPRSV K7 OVERSPI. +76 238
>Avery: ORRTTX M9 TORTR.X +30 399
>W: CIOOUVW N9 OW +28 266
>Avery: AELNPRW 5C WARPL... +26 425
#note B8 PAWNAGE or WARPAGE score more, but this makes column D harder to hit.
>W: CINOUUV 12K .U. +10 276
#note Trying for UNVOICES, for lack of a better idea
>Avery: EIMNNST 13H .M +14 439
#note Decided to be greedy for lack of a better option.
>W: CEINOUV C3 IN.OVE +32 308
#note UM was ominous enough that I figured UNVOICES was not happening and that I should block ENTWINES. Obviously, I should do that with UNWOVE as opposed to INWOVE.
>Avery: EEINNST 15L E.ES +42 481
#note I should obviously block CUE.
>W: CUU 8A CU. +15 323
#note My hunch was right. Unfortunately, I can't go out with CUIF or URIC the way I would have had I played UNWOVE.
>Avery: INNT O10 TIN +10 491
>W: U F4 U. +4 327
>W: (N) +2 329
