#note I didn't see many choices here. GIE I12 was a non-starter because it only turned 2 tiles and opened up row 15 for a bunch of hooks that weren't in my rack. Then it was eitehr PI N5 or this. With 7 A's still unseen, my A was expendable, so I chose this. The duck thinks less is more and that I should fish, with its top choice being ID O1. I see the point - it does hold the rack together and it defends against the cheap XI 1N. But I also don't believe that ACEIPT is going to lead to as many bingoes as Quackle, since I don't think the S in STRINGS is still going to be around.

#note No clue. With no N for CENOBITE, I put this down to make it marginally (and I mean marginally) harder for him to bingo when, in fact, I've probably made it easier. Again, a bunch of mediocre options. Least mediocre per the duck is VERB L12. Not sure what I do if I had this turn to do again.

Or do I try to claw my way back in with big intermediate plays and force an end game? I opted for the latter, since F9 and 10A were still open for bingoes. #note I didn't see any of the ING bingoes playing if I fished one tile, so I put this down to shuffle tiles. With 2 O's in the bag it might have been worthwhile to fish off the Y for APOGEAL. That said, I'm trailing by 72. Even if he misses my bingo and makes the same play of CARE, an out bingo of APOGEAL 10A only scores 71 and comes up short. While I made my share of equity slips, I'm not sure that better play by me wins this.
