#note LOID and CLOD are both a smidge better than KOI because the CKS leave is so potent after LOID and keeping a vowel is a nice bonus after CLOD. I actually preferred using up the I with KOI because there were five more to draw, but leaving four consonants turns out poorly for me too often to risk it.

#note Tanked hard on this turn and couldn't come up with anything better than this. I would've loved to leave both the O column and row 15 open while scoring well, but it's quite tough to do so. Perhaps the only thing that comes close is H5 UPJETS#, but CUSP absolutely wallops it in simulation. Covering the S keeps me in the game by denying John points and I still can draw bingos somewhere a decent percentage of the time.
