>Matt: ALMORST H4 MORTALS +74 74
>Jackson: ?EEEPSW I2 PEEWeES +78 78
>Matt: ACEORRW H1 WO +19 93
#note I thought ACERR would be a good bit stronger with the open S and I'm happy with the prospect of making Jackson open this board. (P)ROWER or (P)ROWAR didn't make a lot of sense, but WEAR G5 for 26 is probably the best thing to do here... RAS is tough to see!
>Jackson: AAGINNU 10H .AUNAING +63 141
>Matt: ?ACEORR O6 RACe.OER +83 176
#note Or CRAyO(N)ER for 86? Q actually prefers the 2x2 here
>Jackson: EFIJLUZ J4 LEZ +74 215
#note I waited about 3 mins to play this to set him on tilt
>Matt: AABGIRT L10 .IRBAG +22 198
#note Equity says to play BAG N12, but this boarod is not condicive to fishy-type plays right now, especially when my two prominent floaters are AI and I'm holding AIRT.
>Jackson: FIJLNTU 15L .ULF +24 239
#note the board is starting to get fairly shut down and I was worried that FLUTING made his job too easy - I liked that GULF makes him sacrifice a bit more on average to open the board, but it really might be too much of a sacrifice. I didn't want to give up the X, but my lead really isn't that big
>Matt: ADDEOTV 5F AV...D +26 224
#note The clear best play here is V(I)DEO for 39, which I didn't see... Aside from that, ODD K3, V(OWE)D, and AV(OWE)D all are interesting options - VOWED especially because there are only three As left this early in the game. But ADEOT seemed weak as a leave and I felt compelled to open the board because I'm down - probably too soon for that and I should play ODD instead (or really, VIDEO if I see that...)
>Jackson: DEIJNNT 4C DJIN +26 265
#note thought there was a small chance AVOWED was an X setup, but really that's not too likely. thought about JIN for a while cause I have the N column, but didn't think the difference was great enough if just the N column stays open. I also have the R in airbag, Q prefers jin by a couple points
>Matt: DEIORRT 12E TORRIDE. +60 284
>Jackson: DENOTUX H12 .OUX +33 298
>Matt: CIIIQTV 3B QI +28 312
#note ARGH! QIVI(U)T holds an I for the underlap with only two in the bag and cleans up this rack much better. I am not good at scrabble
>Jackson: ADEENTT 11A DENTATE +74 372
>Matt: ACEIITV A4 CAVITIE. +101 413
#note Wow that's lucky
>Jackson: EGHIPSY 6D GEY +29 401
#note no idea... maybe GYP to try and hit an N column play? I hate that lane cause I can't end in S. I was going for a B10 play, but he has to not have FHM, which I guess happens sometimes.
>Matt: HINNOTU B10 H.N +27 440
#note The pool is really not friendly for bingos, so the more pressing concern for me is a potential 50-point play down the B column. This blocks that and scores well.
>Jackson: BEHIPSY 2G B..PY +20 421
#note Q likes SH(OP)PY best, which looks like a good idea. I thought about HOPPY to set up the B, but shoppy does a bit better cause leaving 3 in the bag makes it hard for him to score while not emptying the bag. My plan here was for him to play at 1k and for me to bingo out on column M or row 14.
>Matt: AIKNOTU 1K OTAKU +35 475
#note Q has this winning in practically all cases (96.1%) but gives the slight nod to KATION N2 instead. I'm unable to see any bingos that play down the N or M columns or in rows 14 or 15 before or after OTAKU (unless Jackson has drawn 8 tiles, in which case he could hit HOMOSE(X)ES) so I just have to be sure not to get outrun. KATION seems to present Jackson with opportunities to score pretty well (like FILE) but I guess I'll live those anyway.
>Jackson: EHILMSS 2C LIS +7 428

>Jackson: (OO) +4 485
