#note I missed a better spot for this at 7I, which not only scores two more points and still creates helpful bingo lanes, but also avoids setting up the big F10 spot. Note that with low point tiles and a slight deficit, I want a board that is conducive to bingos but not conducive to scoring well with the heavy and midpoint tiles.
>Geoff_Thevenot: CLNOO 10B COLON +19 123
#note I inferred that Geoff was not holding an I, else COLONI in this spot. COLONIC is also a possible extension to keep in mind.
>David_Koenig: AADDINR B6 RADI.AND +64 143
#note Rather lucky that he gave me the only letter that bingos with my rack. At least it seemed that way until his next play.
>Geoff_Thevenot: ?EINRTV 14B sTRIVEN +113 236
#note Ouch!

#note A nice case where the equity play also shapes the board exactly as I want to. Quackle's static evaluator prefers this play, and that does not even take into account some of the reasons why the play is so helpful. The main point is that the N6 hook is very helpful for getting bingos down, which I need because I will still be trailing by nearly a bingo after his next play. Also, the fact that it may be difficult for him to take out the lane or make scores off of the Z without exposing the O column to me makes it more likely that the lane will stay open for a while and limits his scoring options.
>Geoff_Thevenot: EGGOT D7 GOG.ET +18 278
#note It was crappy that I had no D to play off of with this rack. Haha, a little toilet humor there.
>David_Koenig: AAEHIRR 13G HAIR +27 266
>Geoff_Thevenot: Q I12 Q. +11 289
#note I have been lucky that Geoff has not been able to score much over the last few turns, which has allowed me to hang around. What would you do here?
>David_Koenig: AELNRSU 7D .U +3 269
#note The key move of the game. 26 of the 28 unseen tiles make a bingo for me. Only drawing the last L or U would be bad. Furthermore, the vast majority of those bingos fit both at F1 and on the N column, meaning he will not be able to take the spot away.
>Geoff_Thevenot: ABOS N3 OBAS +34 323
#note Geoff does what he can to score well and eliminate one of the lanes. He would much rather me bingo at F1 in order to give him big comebacks.
