#note I liked this move also because there are a ton of Is and Ns, making the G at A10 a genuinely dangerous threat. however, I missed GOOSE at L9 to open up the bottom-right quadrant, and also threatening some nice big scoring plays like ZESTY/GOOSES. I think I'm OK with this move just because of how high-scoring the possible -ING bingos are, even though GOOSE does draw an extra tile in search of a blank.

#note this is an awesome position! although dave is always going to block the R that I need to stay open, I still have to try for a big triple-triple. after the game, people suggested trying for QUIXOTRY, but I have some even better tries: fish an X at 5B going for QUAGMIRY, 2/13 (266 points!); or I can fish off XY and go for QUAGMIRE but also other giant bingos like MASQUERS and AQUAFARM!! obviously, dave just has to put a non-phony on the board to win, but those are still some cool possibilities! I couldn't find a possible triple-triple, alas, so I tried for EXAMINER instead.
