#note i think this is a really hard move. TIZ seems wrong, but so did everything else except maybe L3 AZO, which i shoulda probably played - on an equity basis, it's definitely better than TIZ. i just didn't want to give up an easy overlap. TIZ is fairly defensive but keeps a rotten leave for me. didn't think of J3 AZOLE which looks ok. the best moves seem to be 13J SAUL/SAU/SOUL, which I think are a bit crazy. they go for AZOIC/AZIDO and other such plays, but is it really worth burning an S for 17 pts?? just seems a bit crazy.

#note fairly happy that i was able to equity this play - a lot of people would do something like L3 FOU but it sacrifices too many points and is poor defensively. i like FILO best here.

#note and then.. this happens. i don't do well in these types of situations. the way to win this is to prevent a disaster, and playing L3 PEE(L) just seemed to give up way too much. it's either PEEL or this. PEEL will sim best, but his average score after EPEE is one of the lowest (and with a pretty bad bingo percentage as well). this is me attempting to play defense. it's only about 3 points behind PEEL... some other options are C12 EEL, which i should have considered more, or something like MUT(E),

#note he hit his bingo, and i don't have any more Es. i started getting worried here with both blanks out and being already very low on time (it's very frustrating that i have become super slow, and with tough decisions in this game, attempting to play defensively, and then watch it blow up in my face and i have not too much time). so then i was really mad after i hit the clock because i missed ACHILY* which i think i would have gotten away with, but i also missed ZANILY/ZAYIN/etc. O1 YAH is pretty weak.

#note just awful. My biggest issue was taking forever and playing TIZ and then EPEE, the most defensive moves available at the time, but also wasting all my Ss and having no time to deal with the rest of the game. maybe PEEL is fine, but i don't know when to play defense and when to not.
