#player2 Simon_Walton Simon Walton
>Daniel_Piechnick: EILNOO 8D LOONIE +14 14
>Simon_Walton: ENNPTYY 9F PENNY +24 24
#note I didn't really know PYNE, that would have been a much better score at 9F.
>Daniel_Piechnick: AHJ 7F HAJ +36 50
>Simon_Walton: CERTVWY 10D CREW +29 53
#note My lacking knowledge of 4s showed again here, missing the W(HOP) hook with either EWT, YEW, CREW or TREW.
>Daniel_Piechnick: ?BEIOST D7 B.O.kIEST +76 126
#note Daniel finds the best play through two floaters.
>Simon_Walton: AGIMTVY 14B VA.TY +38 91
#note I played this pretty quickly, a clear winner.
>Daniel_Piechnick: AELO 15F OLEA +17 143
>Simon_Walton: GILMOQU I13 QU. +22 113
#note I chewed up the clock a bit here looking for a better Q option, but nothing found. QU(A) was best.
>Daniel_Piechnick: SW C13 W.S +24 167
#note Daniel seems to be blocking, but maybe just balancing his rack and scoring too.
>Simon_Walton: EGILMOR J12 MIG +28 141
#note This rack looked bingo-friendly, but i couldn't come up with one. 10I GOMERIL was the only playable bonus. I chose MIG for the leave, but i think GRIM may better for the 6 extra points.
>Daniel_Piechnick: LNU K11 LUN +22 189
>Simon_Walton: ADELNOR L10 RAD +22 163
#note Missed (QIN)DAR here for 32 points.
>Daniel_Piechnick: GI I6 GI.. +21 210
#note It appears Daniel is trying to maintain a blocked board while balancing his rack.
>Simon_Walton: EGILNOO 9L OO +8 171
#note I wanted to open up enough for a bingo that may be nigh. OO at J5 would have been a better opening, allowing two bingo lines.
>Daniel_Piechnick: CDER N8 CRED +12 222
#note Daniel tries to shut down my bingo chances.
>Simon_Walton: ?EEGILN 8M I.E +17 188
#note If I was a bit more sure of LEEING, i probably would have played that to the triple. I(C)E and hoping for a bonus onto the E.
>Daniel_Piechnick: STZ O7 Z.ST +19 241
>Daniel_Piechnick: STZ -- -19 222
#note I almost missed the phony OORS* while trying to scribble some notes on my scoresheet, but fortunately looked up in time to challenge.
>Simon_Walton: ?EGKLNP O11 EKiNG +45 233
#note A free hit on the E here, but not bingo-friendly tiles. I decided to play the blank now rather than fishing and scoring little as i may end up falling too far behind that way.
>Daniel_Piechnick: DZ 9B DZ. +23 245
>Simon_Walton: EELOOPU 11A POU.E +16 249
#note I really needed to balance this rack, and fast. POU(k)E looked like the ideal option.
>Daniel_Piechnick: ASX M12 SAX +27 272
>Simon_Walton: AEEHLNO B2 ENHALOE. +78 327
#note This was looking promising!
>Daniel_Piechnick: MRTU 4A T.RUM +22 294
#note Daniel was on the ropes now and had to balance his rack fast for a late bingo.
>Simon_Walton: FFIIIRV A7 IF +32 359
#note Not the best rack i'd ever seen, but there were some scoring options. I noted RIF, but I prefered to keep the R up my sleeve for FRI(T) later on.
>Daniel_Piechnick: DIT 14H D.. +8 302
#note Daniel put down TID at 5D initially, but withdrew and changed to D(UG). He later gave the reason that it would have emptied the bag and then I would know his exact rack (and know where best to block any bingos).
>Simon_Walton: AFIIRTV E2 VI. +8 367
#note Based on tiles remaining I guessed the most likely bingo chance for Daniel would be from 3E starting with A (e.g. ARTISTE, ATRESIA). Any bingo using the E of ICE had to end in E, which seemed unlikely, although if i hadn't drawn the T, TRISTAT(E) was possible. Scoring with A1 FRI(T) wouldn't have beaten a bingo. VI(M) seemd to block best.
>Daniel_Piechnick: ABIRSTT A1 BRI. +22 324
#note It turned out Daniel didn't have a bonus rack after all.
>Simon_Walton: AAEFIRT L14 EF +18 385
#note There was a nice play through JIN here which I didn't spot. I was a bit short on time here and it didn't really matter where i played except for margin.
>Daniel_Piechnick: ASTT 5E STAT +26 350
>Daniel_Piechnick: (AAIRT) +10 360
