#note I suspected after the game that fishing the G was the correct move statistically here, because I have a great fish available (ZAG/UG), and can always draw a bingo that plays at the top or bottom. But the real reason it's better is because I can draw bingos that hit the CHARDS lane (SESTINE, LISTENS, INSERTS) which Sam should sacrifice points to block. Fishing the G is 69/8=9ish spread points better.
