It's hard to get into that mindset when you're up tempo, but this position is effectively a race anyway thanks to the impossible-to-block S at 8A (without scoring next to nothing, which is bad in an even game). Best to embrace the race.

#note Didn't look up at 3I for DOWAGER/DOWAR#. WORDED is maybe a point of equity worse. DOWAR# gets a small boost in bingo% because it keeps an E, but scores fewer - I think I like it best. Keeping both of EG also preserves both BAULK draws (ING, IER)

#note Q likes E5 LOOM. I suppose keeping a lot of vowels isn't a bad idea with mild consonant-heaviness to come and it blocks the J spot (E4 AJI in particular will come down a lot, along with RAJ and even some stuff like JIVING and JAPING at 4A). But DOOLAN bingos more and that still seems like a huge deal.
