#note hey, he blocked my easy bingo! instead, I couldn't pull the trigger on HAIRWING. o well
>Puneet: OZ J6 ZO. +32 50
>JD: ?AAENNR H1 ANEARiN. +77 99
>Puneet: ABCDGHI -ABCDGHI +0 50
>JD: AEIIIOT -IIIO +0 99
#note I wouldn't keep the A normally, but I thought it was OK with an N and R to play through. even on a sim, but Q thinks playing through with INIA at 2G keeping EIOT is a little better, which surprises me!
>Puneet: EFIRY L11 FIERY +35 85
>JD: ?AEEGRT L2 ERGATEs +73 172
#note I agonized over this rack, but indeed there is nothing better to play!

>JD: CHHLSVX 13L .X +36 267
#note this was not the rack I wanted to be looking at down 100, but I guess it could clean itself up with the right tile draw...
>Puneet: ABEFIN K5 BI +28 356
#note a clever set up! I felt silly when I saw his next move
>JD: ACHHLSV 2J CH.VAL +40 307
#note phew I drew a vowel
>Puneet: EFN M5 NEF +37 393
#note !!
>JD: EHJNOQS E2 J.HN +28 335
#note this was a bad play! I threaten nothing and block up the board for myself. I might as well exchange rather than do this. in terms of actual plays, JEONS at 2B kills the sim - the goal is just to score and flip as many tiles as possible to draw a Q play.
>Puneet: ACEIL O1 I.EAC +24 417
>JD: EIOOQSU N9 QI +29 364
#note what the...just keep the Q, man! EIQSU is way closer to a bingo than EOOSU! argh stupid
>Puneet: AI D3 .AI +18 435
#note hey, I was going to play there!
>JD: AEEOOSU F1 OO. +16 380
#note there are a lot of consonants left, so I thought it would be OK to play through. but AEESU is pretty crippling, so Q prefers a straight exchange.
>Puneet: OOP 13H POO +11 446
>JD: ADEESTU F5 SAUTEED +65 445
#note almost back!
>Puneet: M 9J M. +19 465
>JD: BDEEORU 8A REDOU. +24 469
#note oh wow, I have a bingo here, but the irony is that it's probably worse than my play because it gives him spots for a bunch of his potential bingos! with perfect play, REDOUT ties if the S is in the bag, and also gives me a shot at some wins in close scenarios (for instance, him having to find a winning play in the actual endgame we played, or find LOGLINES). Also his last play suggests that he held TINGLE, SINGLE or EILNST, which makes it even more likely he'd bingo out after OUTBREED.
>Puneet: EILLNST C8 .ENTILS +18 483
#note his wins are tough - he has to play on row 9 and block both of the good spots for BEG (BEGINS won't be enough). I thought UNTILES would be sufficient for him, but I'd undercounted a play of mine by 1 point and would've wound up with a tie! too much drama!
>JD: BEG E10 BEG +22 491
#note wow. definitely made some sizable mistakes, but good enough!
