#note josh laughed at me when i played this but there really is no other play. AEONIC was the other thing i considered, but i didn't want to make it even easier for him to bingo. i know with ONE he can hook the S, but he might not have it, and if he does, he's probably not gonna score much more than he would with QIS. ONE sims about half a point behind AEONIC. When I inference INOST (which is what he actually kept, and probably a decent rack to inference, somewhere in the middle of his possible range), 9H NAE and 7H ONE sim within a tiny fraction of each other. also note that this is not terrible because he likely doesn't have high point tiles to stick at J6.

>josh: DILNOPS K3 LIPO +21 47
>cesar: AAACEET L4 TAE +24 91
#note i laid down 4H AECIA, but eventually decided on this play. it's difficult to weigh these plays against each other. bingoing early is important in Scrabble, and TAE blows up those chances, but i just give up too many points with AECIA vs TAE defensively. They also sim super close to each other.

>cesar: AAACEEI O2 AECIA +13 104
#note lol
>josh: ?NOSTTZ 2L ZON. +26 86
>cesar: AEEEFIO 9I FEE +23 127
#note i'm not going to do myself any favors by keeping 4 vowels but i have to start drawing consonants at some point. this sims far best.
>josh: ?DOSSTT 10L DOST +19 105
>cesar: AAEIORU 11I URAEI +15 142
#note inferring an S for him. i didn't want to make it super easy for him to score a lot, and indeed my URAEI is a lot more defensive, but quackle thinks i should be more aggressive and play 9C AUREI.

>cesar: AGOPUVW J2 VAW +25 167
#note this is some garbage, the pool was pretty nice too...
>josh: ??BRSST 12C BReaSTS +68 199
#note he didn't even play broasts
best is SUBaSTR(AL) 3C :O :O :O
>cesar: EGMOPUV 6F VUM +21 188
#note quackle thinks i should drop the O with OVUM... it might be right, by a little bit.
>josh: AGLOSTT O10 .OTAL +6 205
>cesar: EGIOPRR 14L GIR. +10 198
#note i have seriously never drawn an S or blank in any game against Josh. now, I very likely have to block that, but i don't have to freak out. E3 PIROG might be ok. I thought of playing PROGERI(AL)* for too long... GIRL sims best as it's actually quite a good block, but I haven't tried other blocks.
>josh: AGHORST E5 HOG +23 228
#note nice play
>cesar: ABCEOPR 15H CARBO +34 232
>josh: AINNRST 15H .....N +12 240
>cesar: AEEIMPY 11E PYE +28 260
#note he probably has a very strong leave here after CARBON; i can put him on something like AENST or AEINST because of all the i's that are left. I'll try AENST. quackle doesn't give me a good win chance, but the best I can probably do is 13B PYE to score a few more points and set up AIM. because of Josh's extreme luck though, there's not really that much I can do here. I can consider D3 PYE but row 10 is actually not a bad lane at all.
>josh: AEINRST 4B ANESTRI +74 314
#note Josh seriously spent 10 minutes before making this play. completely ridiculous.
>cesar: ADEEHIM 13B ME +16 276
#note i didn't think of 13B HI, which is a pretty sweet setup. endemial and emailed/limeade don't both seem possible to block - i wish i had thought of this, but didn't have much time.. i should have spent time coming up with possibilities during his 10-minute long turn.
>josh: GIILLUY 14B UGLILY +38 352
>cesar: ADDEHIN 13J HEAD +28 304
#note i should block his out. i was probably low on time like i always am.
>josh: IU C3 U.I +6 358
>josh: (DIN) +8 366
#note he went overtime so final score is 356-304
