>Evan_Berofsky: AEY 8H AYE +12 12
#note An inauspicious start to what would become one helluva game.
>Rob_Robinsky: DEJNNOY J8 .NJOYED +38 38
#note Really close in the sim, but ENJOYED comes out a bit ahead of ENJOY even without me putting in the inference that Evan has an S based on his placement of AYE.
>Evan_Berofsky: ?AAAAST K2 AtAATAS +69 81
#note Unexpectedly, from a rack of AAAAST? I find myself typing that Evan made a slight error by playing ATAATAS! ATALAYAS scores an extra point and sets up slightly less nuclear hotspots.
>Rob_Robinsky: AEEHNOW K10 OWE +36 74
#note So many close options! L2 HOWE comes out a bit ahead in the sim, but I had a strong suspicion that I was going to want as much volatility as possible for this game.
>Evan_Berofsky: AZ J2 ZA +63 144
#note He was NOT supposed to draw another A. Grr.
>Rob_Robinsky: AEHINRT 13C HERNIAT. +76 150
#note Oooof, I didn't recognize that ATHERINE played here as well. CSW fail!
>Evan_Berofsky: MPV H12 V.MP +45 189
>Rob_Robinsky: ?INOSUV D7 UNVOIc.S +72 222
#note Got this one right, at least.
>Evan_Berofsky: GOW 8A GOW. +24 213
>Rob_Robinsky: AEEINQR I3 QI +42 264
>Evan_Berofsky: CDEINOT L9 CTENOID +102 315
#note Good grief. I guess I should've played HOWE after all!
>Rob_Robinsky: AEEFGNR 5C FREEGAN +84 348
#note CSW not-fail!
>Evan_Berofsky: BEFOU 4A BOEUF +40 355
>Rob_Robinsky: CEGIMTU 6F MUG +28 376
>Evan_Berofsky: DIR A1 DRI. +21 376
>Rob_Robinsky: CEIORTT 15K E.ICT +24 400
#note Quackle favors fishing with 3C TO. I guess? I tacked the E on instead of playing DICT here because I figured that Evan was consonant heavy after DRIB, but according to the duck it's a bit more of a mistake to play the E than I realized.
>Evan_Berofsky: KL 3A .LK +36 412
>Rob_Robinsky: BDHORST M5 BROTHS +38 438
#note This is why playing off the E was a mistake. I didn't expect to draw four consonants from the bag!
>Evan_Berofsky: ALORSTX 7M .X +9 421
#note Evan's actual rack. Championship Player didn't come up with this play, but it wins a many-ply sim convincingly. Evan is holding the last tile to hook OX, and he hits a playable bingo if he draws an E, I, or N (I'm almost certain not to block ORTOLANS). Given that I've just played five consonants, the chances of Evan drawing an E or I are actually higher than 6/13. Great play.
>Rob_Robinsky: DEELPRU O8 DRUPELE. +86 524
#note Unfortunately, a great play can't always overcome sheer dumb luck. OX is just a little bit too high to block DRUPELET.
>Evan_Berofsky: AILORST 1A .ILATORS +80 501
#note Scrabble can be both awesome and brutal, depending on which chair you're sitting in.
>Evan_Berofsky: (EIILN) +10 511
