#note cute. probably too cute. MOXA is fine. So is MAX. LOTAH also sets up the X, and it doesn't set up LOATHE or extensions, but I am basically trying to get Jackson to play elsewhere so I can get my X-bomb next turn. LOTAH encourages plays that end up blocking my X spot, although some will give me (TI)X and (TA)X plays that are even better. LOTAH would also imply I have an X a bit more than LOATH does I think. #questionable

#note forgot to write my racks for this game, so I might be unsure of some racks

#note yeah I even saw EQUITE*.... REQUITE is 113 -_-

#note pretty sure again this is my rack - ZIT(I) would be good on a board that is better for ING
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ?CDEILR 14H DECRIaL +93 179
>Jackson_Smylie: ACFGIRT 15L FRIG +48 194
#note like act better as a leave (IT sucks), and LI can't be paralleled... this baord is really hard to score on - he averages 25 after FRIG and 27 after frag

#note super sad that ORIENT(A)L and RETINOL were both blocked!
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: BKNNSTU 9L .NK +8 298
#note he doesn't have an S otherwise he has bingos on column N. I wanted to create a nice threat here, but this doesn't score much and actually doesn't work out super well, so it's probably bad. But I don't much like (ZINE)B because that's slow and (D)UNK because he is likely to have ROOTLI(K)E and LORI(K)EET very high on his potential range of plays next turn. (YE)UK is an s-setup option as well but it requires drawing a consonant, so it could backfire. I wanted to block the N column too. Dunno, this accomplishes stuff but maybe it's not the best. His options suck regardless, so why let him block and stay close behind? #questionable
>Jackson_Smylie: EILNORT N6 LO +12 267
#note in a terrible position. maybe even something like IN/KI here. he could be inducing a block from me so that he blocks better on the J column next turn, but I think he has an S often enough that I gotta play something like this
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: BINPSTU N1 PUB +26 324
#note I think I missed O1 INPUTS, which is the simple play. I'm crushing in this position. He could bingo for 60. Best to block the unlikely but possible O7 lane.
>Jackson_Smylie: EINRSTU O1 IN +23 290
#note any ideas? this blocks a scoring spot and keeps within possible C column bingo range...
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ?DINSST O7 DISSeNT +85 409
#note but I could also just hit this spot myself.
>Jackson_Smylie: EERRSTU 2I ER. +5 295
#note maybe just RE/LOXED for spread
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: EELNOOR 1G ENRO.E +31 440
>Jackson_Smylie: AEJRSTU 12M JU. +10 305
#note didn't like my bingo prospects with AJ(aR)
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: EEGILNO 2B ELOIGN +24 464
#note should definitely find a block of AEFRSTW here. This gives way too much back. TEAWARES and SOFTWARE. I think I probably missed both. His leave after JUN basically never contains an F or W, so there are so many reasons why this is a bad play. #findinglarge
