#note I didn't know VALERATE all that well. This is around a 4-point mistake.
>Crayne_Spanier: EZ G6 ZE. +29 107
>Joshua_Sokol: LOOOSTW E5 WOO. +14 75
#note Missed the chance to play WOLOST*.
I would play I11 WOO normally but the S-hook on VARIETAL was much stronger than the hooks on WOO. Bingos on row 13 are safer than 14. Also, maybe Crayne for some reason doesn't know the s-hook on VARIETAL
>Crayne_Spanier: HKNU D8 .HUNK +28 135

#note nice block of ETOILES. There's a lot of I's left, so I should play VOILE here instead.

#note Alternatively 3J AU(G)H sets up my T and keeps the E over the A

>Joshua_Sokol: DEFINRT 2J FE.NT +47 268
#note 2H RIF is much better for my chances at a bingo, but it's easier to close the board after that play, so I'll take FEINT, it seems he doesn't have the S yet.
>Crayne_Spanier: ADQ K9 QAD. +28 318
>Joshua_Sokol: ADIINOR 11B DA.IO +21 289
#note I regretted FEINT this turn. I should keep my options open; i.e not trying to make my chances of winning the game almost fully dependent on drawing the last S. The problem is that if I do draw the S, my chances of winning are very very good, but if I don't they are pretty slim. Playing RIF would have allowed me to continue to make plays keeping the board as open as possible for a bingo comeback in the future. Quackle likes E11 OIDIA here, which seems way too risky to me. I don't think I need to do that.

>Joshua_Sokol: AAINPRR C3 PAR +33 364
#note I couldn't decide between M12 (S)PAR and C3 PAR here. SPAR was probably the play I make against a stronger player, as they will make a stronger pre-endgame decision and I'm sort of dead if Crayne scores next turn.
