>Joshua_Sokol: AHJLNQX H6 HAJ +26 26
#note It seemed close between this and exchanging. I'm playing this HAJ for sure though, since it only increases John's average score ever so slightly while increasing mine a ton. If I draw an I, QI/HAJI scores 10 more than it would with another HAJ. Also, he might not sniff the setup or think I'm setting a Z up, so it inducecs mistakes as well. Not thrilled with my prospects here, but this is definitely the best of the lot.
>John_Stardom: BCDEI 9G DICE +26 26
#note Nicely done. John sets his B up for next turn. He does not block the setup, which is probably fine.
>Joshua_Sokol: AELNOQX I5 LOX +40 66
#note AXONE being blocked, I have to settle for this instead. I thought briefly about LEX in the same spot, which again gives me a good spot for QI next turn if I draw an I. I thought he might have a B here, but I'm setting up big ccounterplay anyway. Really good to have drawn three vowels here, if only I had a timely draw or two against Jackson and Cesar earlier...

>Joshua_Sokol: AEFNOQU 10J FOE +27 93
#note another great draw, giving my Q a U to use in the next couple of turns. This sets up QU(E)AN, but FANO in the same spot retains a better leave in general. I'll take the setup again plz
>John_Stardom: EV L10 .VE +12 72
>Joshua_Sokol: ALMNOQU K5 MOLA +32 125
#note I realized I played this too fast. I wanted to go for (A)QUAE here, but just MOL gives me shots at more than one big Q play on row 8 in the next couple of turns and retains a more balanced leave. John is less likely to play on row 8 after MOLA though, given his bingo-ey range, so I think this was fine. Just needed to think a bit more.

>Joshua_Sokol: AGLNOVY C9 V.NYL +30 210
#note 11E GOY was pretty clear, but I decided against playing it after tunnelling for a few minutes. I didn't like the 3-consonant leave after John blocks V(I)NAL next turn. I really wanted to reduce his options as much as possible, and he seemed vowel-heavy, so the T and the R were first on my list.
>John_Stardom: GIRY 14F GYRI +23 195
>Joshua_Sokol: AAGLORW 11E LAW +26 236
#note Man, these last two turns were sort of hard. No leaves were attractive at all. Maybe RAW is better, keeping the L instead of the R. Probably.
>John_Stardom: GM 12B G.M +18 213
>Joshua_Sokol: ACGORSS N4 SOCAG.RS +69 305
#note super lucky here... not worried about him having an H for a play at O1 after GYM, so this is better than CORSAGES.
>John_Stardom: IITT O1 TITI +18 231
>Joshua_Sokol: ?EENORZ O11 OZoNE +71 376
#note yeah, John had no chance this game
>John_Stardom: ABK 13E KAB +25 256
#note He's really making strong plays, he's just getting no breaks whatsoever. This creates a good line on row 15, TITI opened the top right and prevented me from scoring in that spot...
>Joshua_Sokol: AAERTTU 15A AURATE +25 401
>John_Stardom: OW O7 WO +29 285
>Joshua_Sokol: DEINOTU L2 UNDO +14 415
#note just trying to settle things here by blocking the top T, and leaving fewer than 7 in the bag.
>John_Stardom: ?EEIPTU E8 PE.. +6 291
>Joshua_Sokol: AEIPRST 3F PRISTA.E +74 489
#note And I just draw into something through my blocking play instead... Classic.
>John_Stardom: ?EIINTU 4B INqUIET +73 364
#note I was sort of relieved that he still had something and that he saw it, although I would have been happy with the spread. Every time I play John I remember us playing for last place in Lake George 2013. It humbles me.
This is probably the 715th time someone has bingo-ed out in Shediac 2017. Like, seriously, everyone was doing it.
